If you have seen the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl or if you watched the closing ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, you have heard music composed by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer. If not, you will get to enjoy his music for the first time when you attend the YPC concert this November.
Klaus Badelt writes music for movies and commercials. How cool is that! Just think, a hundred years ago, the musical career Klaus now enjoys would not have been possible. Badelt’s career as a composer began in Germany where he was born. Since he was discovered by Hans Zimmer and came to American, he has collaborated with several other composers on the scores for several successful films.
