NavyFest is an area that provides space for groups of 30 to 1,000 to gather with friends, family, employees, clients and neighbors in anticipation of the heated action on the field. From your game ticket to a buffet lunch by one of our preferred caterers, everything can be provided as you experience one of the best tailgating traditions in college football. It is also the best place to view the march-on by the Brigade of Midshipmen. Captain’s B.B.Q. For those fans who want their pregame tailgate provided for them, this is the perfect solution. You can enjoy an all-you-can-eat and drink buffet for two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff, while watching all of the pregame festivities from a bird’s eye view inside of the stadium.

Edge of Night (top) captured the $75,000 Emerald Necklace Stakes and $75,000 Glacial Princess as a 2-year-old. This season she finished second by a nose in the $75,000 Cincinnatian Stakes on the turf. She has career earnings of $174,390 Edge of Night is owned by Mast Thoroughbreds LLC and trained by Robert Gorham. A daughter of Added Edge out of Cargo Jet by Discreet Cat bred by Steve DeMaiolo. Happy as You Go captured the recent $75,000 Loyalty Stakes for 2-year- olds. After a troubled debut she has won her last two outings and has current earnings of $61,716. Really something. Admiral Carter, thank you for that wonderful introduction and for your leadership and the incredible job you've done at this storied academy. And thank you, Captain Chadwick, for your dedication and service. Thank you to Under Secretary Modly, Admiral Richardson, General Walters for joining us today. Thanks, also, to Senator Wicker, Congressman Wittman, and Congressman Valadao. I want to recognize the entire brigade for a tremendous year. This has been a spectacular year for you. I've heard all about your achievements. [Laughter] And a very special recognition for the midshipmen fourth class, you are plebes no more. [Applause] To all of the distinguished faculty and staff; to the local sponsor families; and most importantly, to the parents and grandparents and family members who have helped our graduates reach this joyous hour: Today is your incredible achievement also. They would have never made it without you. You know that. So I want to thank our midshipmen. I want to thank your families. And thank you. America thanks you more than anybody.
