Air Products Signs on as First Founding Partner Sponsor for Lehigh Valley IronPigs March 22, 2007 5:07 PM ET Standing Room-Only Crowd of Employees and Community Leaders “Root, Root, Root for the Home Team” at Noon Press Conference Air Products (NYSE: APD) announced today that it has signed on as the first Founding Partner Sponsor for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, a new Minor League Baseball team based in Allentown, Pa., serving as the AAA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The announcement was made jointly with Lehigh Valley IronPigs officials during a press conference at Air Products’ headquarters in Trexlertown, Pa. before an audience of 400 employees and guests. Details of the long-term, multi-year agreement were not disclosed. “We are quite happy to be one of the first area companies to sponsor one of the most significant sporting initiatives in the history of the Lehigh Valley,” said Paul Huck, Air Products’ chief financial officer. “With more than 4,000 employees living and working here, what a terrific addition this team and the new, first-class Coca-Cola Park will be to the quality of life in our area.” Huck emphasized the value of the company’s investment as one that “brings family-focused entertainment for the benefit of our employees and neighbors, our customers and recruiting efforts, and the economic prosperity of our community.” “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Air Products,” said IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. “Air Products has taken a leadership position in supporting this significant economic development project for our region.” Echoing Huck’s comments, Landes added, “I’m convinced it will dramatically increase the Lehigh Valley’s quality of life.” The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will begin playing their home games at Coca-Cola Park in April 2008. -

We persevered through a pandemic and we could not have done it without the unwavering commitment from our Sport Management faculty and staff, the understanding and flexibility of our students, the guidance from Falk College and Syracuse University leadership, and the loyal support of our alumni and advisory council members. So many of our events, trips, conferences, presentations, lectures and internships were canceled or cut short, including senior Capstones, graduate practicums, Los Angeles Immersion, Syracuse Sport Business Conference, Berlin Sport Analytics Faculty adapt from classroom instruction to online teaching Undergraduate director Dr. Gina Pauline dents both online and in person. Although young, these brave sons and daughters stand in steadfast support of their military parents through moves and deployments. To honor their unique contributions and sacrifices on behalf of our country, each April is designated the Month of the Military Child. This year’s theme, “Their Lives, Their Stories” highlights the unique lifestyles, contributions, and sacrifices military children make to our nation. Show your support by doing something nice for a military child – say thank you, give them a hug, treat them to a meal, or give them a Certificate of Recognition that you can download. Kutztown Campaign Wins American Advertising Award – Klunk & Millan Advertising was awarded Best of Show by the American Advertising Federation of the Greater Lehigh Valley at the 2015 American Advertising Awards, the advertising industry’s largest competition for creative excellence. The agency received top honors for the creation of a television ad series that is part of a branding campaign for Kutztown University. The series consists of four 15-second spots that positions the school as a top-tier choice for incoming students. Klunk & Millan also received a Gold ADDY award for the TV series and a Silver ADDY for the University's outdoor campaign. KU’s message can be seen this spring throughout Berks County, the Lehigh Valley, and the Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon/York markets and beyond.
