Andrew Lanyon was born in St Ives in 1947 the son of Peter Lanyon the artist. He studied at the London School of Film Technique and worked in film for several years before starting to publish his own books in 1987. He has exhibited at Beaux Arts, Newlyn Orion and Majorie Parr Galleries to name a few.
