The decision was taken as a response to the global spread of COVID-19 virus, recently calling for extraordinary measures and for the resolute contribution of all stakeholders to stop the outbreak. In a letter sent to the crew members, Aida announced that the shipboard employees will be given options to stay on the ships during this period, or return home, therefore the crew are given freedom to decide what is best for them and their families. Regardless of their decision, there will be no terminations of crew contracts. That means nobody has to leave the ship. The crew who plan to disembark and return home, even if their contracts are longer, they can do so as soon as the company arranges for flight tickets. In both cases, AIDA will cover the flight costs. For the crew at home waiting to sign-on the dates are postponed for now. It’s the real Greek experience by Celestyal Cruises. Don’t Resist! MARCH - NOVEMBER 2015 Say “Kalimera!” to the Real Greek Experience! Our cruises are a promise. We promise to take you to the places you’ve dreamt of, iconic harbors and idyllic islands where you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back into a bygone Greece. We promise to spoil you with our legendary hospitality and our stellar Greek food and wines, to give you the best of Greece with spectacular excursions and special themed events. In 2015 Louis Cruises gives a name to this promise when we launch Celestyal Cruises. “Celestyal” means “of the stars,” “heav- enly” and “divine” – it defines the authentic Greek experience we provide. “Celestyal” honors the Ancient Greeks, one of the first civilizations to use celestial navigation, as does our new logo, which combines two iconic, eternal Greek images: the spiral, taken from seashells, which adorns many of our ancient columns, and the windmills of the Aegean – both have inspired Greeks for millennia. The Celestyal logo evokes the sea, the sun and the wind. It reaffirms our commitment to our Hellenic roots, and to supporting the economy and preserving the environment of each destination we visit. “Kalimera!” doesn’t just mean “good morning,” it means “good” in every sense of the word: quality, satisfaction, happiness…at Celestyal, we live by it. This is why each of our cozy ships feels like a floating hotel where the entire staff knows you by name, where you travel from one incredible experience to the next: a lavish Greek meal, a traditional Greek coffee, a local wine, a special themed event that brings you to the heart of ancient and modern Hellenic culture…and our incredible destinations, of course.

  • Cruising: the Great Restart
May 2021 Edition Cruising: the Great Restart “Cruises will be the safest place on earth” - Frank Del Rio, President & CEO Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings PanacheCruises.com Elite Ocean, River, Expedition and Yacht-Style Cruising Dear Fellow Cruise Enthusiast, Cruising is restarting and Panache Cruises presents to you our aptly titled guide, Cruising: The Great Restart. In February this year we asked our customers when they thought international cruising would return, and 64% of them stated between July and September 2021. Well, it looks like they will be spot on with their prediction, as we envisage a number of cruise lines to be sailing internationally in July with many more to follow by September. With the UK vaccine rollout at an advanced stage along with Europe, the USA, and other parts of the world making significant progress too, the cruise world is on the cusp of restarting, slowly but surely. It’s truly an exciting time for everyone associated with the cruise industry. The UK’s traffic light system is also up and running, which over time will see more and more destinations opening up to tourism. Of course, don’t be discouraged by some of your favourite cruising destinations being on the ‘amber’ list for now - all of that is likely to change in a matter of weeks as they are given the ‘green light’, giving travellers the confidence to resume exploring the world. Cruise lines have worked extremely hard to ensure that “cruises will be the safest place on earth” according to Norwegian Cruise Line’s Frank Del Rio.
