John Barrett West Lindsey District Council Elections 2 May 2019 A personal message from your local Conservative candidates JOHN BARRETT Dear Resident, We are really proud to offer ourselves in the local election on Thursday, GILES MCNEILL 2nd May 2019 to be Grange-de-Lings, Nettleham and Riseholme’s two West Lindsey District Councillors. Giles is seeking re-election and John wants very much to work with Conservative Plans to Invest Giles and our Conservative team of representatives – Jackie Brockway (County Councillor), Marc Jones (Police & Crime Commissioner) and Sir Edward Leigh MP, so that together we can work for everyone and make in Services and Regeneration RE-ELECT a real difference. John is a former police officer and thoroughly enjoys assisting residents and local businesses. The district council, with its positive outlook on neighbourhood plans, community grant schemes and localism make the area a really positive and vibrant place to enjoy. John has a family in Cherry Willingham where he has semi-resided for the last five years. His son is a director of the rugby club in Nettleham. Giles was elected to the district council is 2012 and re-elected in 2015 and hopes that local people will be kind enough to let him continue his service to our community. As a member of the Planning Committee he has remained vigilant to prevent any unsuitable development being granted in our villages. He has also supported numerous organisations throughout the ward through the Councillors Initiative Fund. Memorial name * This information is needed to help us identify the memorial which is being recorded. Including a few words identifying what the memorial is, what it commemorates and a placename would be helpful. For example, 'Roll of Honour for the Men of Grasby WWI, All Saints church, Grasby'. Address * If a full address, including post code, is available, please enter it here. It should have a minimum of a street name: it needs to be enough information to help us identify approximately where a memorial is located, but you don’t need to include the full address. For example, you don’t need to tell us the County (as we know it will be Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire or North East Lincolnshire), and you don’t need to tell us the village, town or parish because they can be included in the boxes below.
