(a) whether it is a fact that Government is not allowing elected Chief Ministers and other Cabinet Ministers of State Governments to go on a visit to China; (b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise and if not, the reasons therefor; and (c) the details of Chief Ministers and other State Ministers visiting China during the last three years? ANSWER (a) to (c) There are no restrictions on the travel of Chief Ministers and Ministers of State Governments to the People’s Republic of China. On the contrary, under an institutional arrangement between Ministry of External Affairs and the International Department of the Communist Party of China, visits of Chief Ministers of Indian States to China are proactively facilitated in order to promote contacts at the level of provincial leaders and with senior functionaries of the Communist Party of China. High Court Chief Justice Govind Mathur administered her the oath at the Raj Bhawan in Lucknow. Patel was serving as Madhya Pradesh Governor when President Ram Nath Kovind transferred her and appointed her as Uttar Pradesh Governor. Outgoing UP Governor Ram Naik also attended her swearing-in ceremony. DAILY GK PNB Housing Finance raises $100 mn from World Bank's IFC PNB Housing Finance said it has raised $100 million (nearly ₹690 crore) from World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation (IFC) to provide loans for affordable housing projects. It said the investment was made under RBI's automatic route in the external commercial borrowings (ECB) framework. It added RBI allowed it to raise up to $750-million ECB annually through the route. Chief Minister Sonowal while talking to Uddhab Thakare of Maharashtra, Vijay Rupani of Gujarat, Y.S. Jaganmahan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh, Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala, Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan and B.S. Yediyurappa of Karnataka conveyed the words of requests to take care of the people of Assam stranded in their states and provide them with food, accommodation and security. He said, “I will be grateful to you if you please direct your respective district administrations for the safekeeping of the people of Assam who for sake of their professional, academic, medical and other requirements got stranded in your respective states”. Chief Minister Sonowal also maintained that though Government of Assam to give a succor to its people stranded in several parts of the country, has extended its helping hands, without the support of the local dispensations, the government cannot provide solace to its people. He also informed that Government of Assam has also sent letters to different State governments requesting them to help the stranded people of Assam. Chief Minister Sonowal also told them that in Assam the entire government machinery has been alerted to provide ‘safekeeping’ including food, accommodation and security if people from other states of the country got stuck up in Assam in view of COVID 19 lockdown. -

pib.gov.in “5” (Home-MHA) Press Information Bureau Government of India ***** Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah visited the newly constructed Dhanvantari Covid Hospital in Ahmedabad Shri Amit Shah reviewed the healthcare facilities available in the hospital This hospital, starting services tomorrow, was set up in a short span of 10 days This Covid Hospital, located at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Center in Ahmedabad, has been set up by the Government of Gujarat in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Union Home Ministry and Ministry of Defence This hospital, with a capacity of more than 900 beds, has all necessary facilities including intensive and critical care for Covid patients All beds are equipped with oxygen, 150 of these beds will be ICU beds with ventilators More than 200 medical and paramedical staff including 50 doctors and Duty Medical Officers will be deployed in the hospital The Union Home Minister also held a meeting with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Vijay Rupani, Deputy CM Shri Nitinbhai Patel and senior state officials to review the Covid situation in Gujarat Shri Amit Shah will also provide healthcare facilities worth Rs 10 crore for Covid patients in government hospitals of his parliamentary constituency Gandhinagar today These facilities, provided on a war footing, include 100 Bipap machines as oxygen Concentrators, including 50-50 machines and 25 ventilators for Gandhinagar Civil Hospital and Sola Civil Hospital Also provided 6 ambulances, 2 ICU on wheels and 2 mobile testing laboratory, this facility will be made available exclusively to the rural population of 160 villages of Ahmedabad district and 100 villages of Gandhinagar district and 4 for municipalities New Delhi: 23.04.2021 The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah visited the newly constructed Dhanvantari Covid Hospital in Ahmedabad today. -

Press Information Bureau Government of India *** New Delhi, 13th August 2019 Commerce and Industry Minister leads a high-power delegation to Vladivostok MoUs signed to expand trade, economy, investment, scientific and technical cooperation Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal led a high-power delegation of Chief Ministers of Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Goa and about 140 Indian companies to Vladivostok, Russia from August 11-13, 2019. This visit came as a fulfillment of the assurance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to Russian President, Vladimir Putin during their meeting in Bishkek earlier this year on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, to explore opportunities for enhancing trade and investment from India to the Far East region of Russia. About 200 Russian companies, Investment Agencies and Funds took part from the Russian side. Companies interacted separately with identified partners in an expanded B2B format and established contacts for further deliberations. The companies belonged to a wide cross-section of priority sectors, including minerals and rare earth, energy, forestry and timber, healthcare, agriculture and food processing, ceramics, tourism and infrastructure. The event was the result of collaboration between Invest India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry on the Indian side, and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic under the leadership of Alexander Kozlov and the Far East Investment and Export Promotion Agency on the Russian side. On August 12, 2019, the companies showcased in different sessions the prospects of mutual collaboration in the promising sectors through presentations. The sessions were attended by the Governors of several regions of the Far East and senior officials on both sides. -
