Document.Pdf Lille, le 24 février 2012 Communiqué de presse LA DIRECTION REGIONALE DE LA JEUNESSE, DES SPORTS ET DE LA COHESION SOCIALE AVEC LA NATATION POUR 2012 ■ ■ ■ André Bouvet, directeur régional de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohésion sociale participera ce samedi 25 février à 11h00, au Casino de Dunkerque , à la conférence de presse de lancement des championnats de France de natation , qualificatifs pour les Jeux olympiques (JO) de Londres. L’action de la direction régionale de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohésion sociale (DRJSCS) vise à améliorer l’offre sportive sur l’ensemble du territoire. Elle s’exerce, d’une part, en direction du haut niveau et d’autre part, de la pratique sportive pour tous. La DRJSCS soutient particulièrement le championnat de France Elite 2012 dans son volet promotion du sport licencié et valorisation de l’engagement bénévole . Elle est le partenaire principal de la journée du mercredi 21 mars 2012 qui permettra, à l’initiative du Comité régional, à près de 300 jeunes avec leurs encadrants venant de tous les clubs de la région de rencontrer leurs champions. Il s’agit de mettre en évidence l’ancrage territorial exceptionnel de la natation régionale et de promouvoir le rôle des clubs dans l’émergence des champions et dans la pratique de la natation pour tous. La DRJSCS accompagne cette compétition de très haut niveau car elle constitue la vitrine d’excellence du dynamisme sportif de la région dans le cadre de la base arrière des JO 2012 . La DRJSCS c’est aussi, pour le sport de haut niveau - l’évaluation des structures des parcours d’excellence sportive en Nord - Pas-de-Calais pour la délivrance du label ministériel ; parmi elles, le pôle espoir de waterpolo à Douai et le pôle France jeune de natation à Dunkerque. - le suivi des sportifs de haut niveau tels que les 30 nageurs de notre région figurant sur les listes nationales. L’un deux Joanes HEDEL bénéficie à ce titre d’une convention d’insertion professionnelle permettant d’apporter un complément financier à son employeur. en faveur du sport pour tous - l’aide à la construction ou à la rénovation des bassins de natation grâce à la mobilisation des moyens financiers du centre national pour le développement du sport ( CNDS ): depuis 2002, 20 projets ont été aidés par l’Etat pour plus de 20 millions d’euros. Les piscines de Béthune et de Dunkerque ont été labellisées JO 2012. - l’aide au développement de la discipline : les clubs, les comités départementaux et le comité régional ont reçu près de 250 000 euros en 2011 pour réaliser leurs projets. - l’action d’un cadre technique sportif , agent de l’Etat placé auprès du comité régional de natation, qui a particulièrement contribué à l’organisation de la rencontre des jeunes et des champions. - la valorisation des grands événements : les grands événements reçoivent une aide au plan national, mais la direction régionale peut accompagner des initiatives locales prises à ces occasions.
