Although Colchester was a Royalist stronghold, it was under siege by the Roundheads for 11 weeks before fi- nally falling. The church tower was hit by enemy cannon fire and the top of the tower was blown off, sending “Humpty” tumbling to the ground. The Pop Culture Collective By Brett Weiss Peter David’s new book a fun read for fans of comics and Star Trek
