Chris Carus raised the issue of local residents suffering from anti-social behaviour following football matches, but mentioned the positive responses from our survey to the presence of police horses in the back lanes, which had worked well and deterred problems. Residents are advised to ring 101 to report any instances of anti-social behaviour, as there will be local police on foot in the area around the time of matches and they can be contacted. It was noted that there is less trouble at friendly matches. Chris also asked about beat reports. There had been one detection of drug use; this was reported to the Procurator Fiscal. There was one serious assault and no common assaults. There were no major issues around driver behaviour; there was one shoplifting offence, one case of fraud, and one attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
