SERIES INFO Hessert has won three of the last five ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards events at Salem, including the last one there after a last lap skirmish with Mason Mitchell coming off turn four. He’ll get the chance to make it four out of six when ARCA returns to the historic southern Indiana oval for the Federated Auto Parts 200 coming Sunday, April 26, the 97th running since 1955.

Hessert equates his Salem success to multiple factors.

RACE FACTS RACE “Salem is a combination of so many things...so many things that must go right, and so many things that could go wrong,” said Hessert. “But that’s what makes it so cool.” Hessert’s second Salem win came in April of 2013. By this Hessert’s first win at Salem came aboard a Ken Schrader time, he had switched from Schrader Racing to Cunningham Racing Chevrolet in September of 2012.
