Analysis of Submitted Action Plan (2015 – 2016)

Out of the 64 items mentioned in the Action plan submitted during the 1st term of the academic year, content of 60 items are executed successfully. Its reports have been included under various headings. Only four items- Workshop on “FTIR‟‟ Demonstration, Kitchen garden (August); Seminar – Personality Development – How to improve Self Confidence (September ) and Workshop (February). It is mainly due to lack of fund. In spite of lack of fund and time, Dept of Botany organized or has a major role in conducting four more seminars as mentioned below. Karkidaka Vismayangal (Aug- 5th ), Nattarivukal ( 27-07–15), Biodiversity of Western Ghats ( 29 -07-15) and Research methodology Seminar (Nov 2015 )

We established and maintainedOrganic farming of vegetable crops in the campus instead of kitchen garden.
