Incidents by observers requiring disciplinary action One incident of losing data and notes. Four observers who were poor performers, and thee others who were not on deck when required to properly observe fishing operations. In all cases, the observers in question received specific guidance on how to improve their performance and avoid past errors. Failing to heed the advice on subsequent trips led to the final actions below. Result of disciplinary action All of these observers had their positions terminated by their employer.
