From the Pastor’s Desk Dear Parishioners, I am writing today to encourage you to support and attend the 24th annual St. Joseph Blue & Gold Gala themed 40’s Swing taking place on Saturday, February 22 in the gymnasium in Jones Hall. If I do say so myself, the Blue & Gold Gala is a wonderfully fun event and it is the largest fundraiser for our school. Last year, we SOLD OUT of the available 205 tickets and the event raised over $30,000! This event has something for everyone: a gourmet dinner; a fully stocked bar; silent auctions; LIVE auctions; raffles; photo booth; loads of laughs and lots of fellowship! Although it is a GREAT party, more importantly, it supports the continual competitiveness of our school. Since 1995, our annual Blue & Gold Gala has been successful at providing funds for various educational enhancements including the computer lab, the science lab and most recently Chromebooks. So when you purchase tickets for this event not only can we guarantee you a night out for food, fellowship, & fun; but also the satisfaction of knowing you have supported every student of this school in being amply prepared for their higher education and beyond. Please consider joining us in our mission by donating auction items, being a sponsor, or attending the Blue & Gold Gala! You will find an invitation on the last page of this bulletin. Thank you in advance for your consideration and your support! God’s Blessings, Fr.
