A 2000 graduate of Valley High in Nebraska, where he honorable mention all-state selection in baseball. Also played football and basketball in high school. Personal: Born Feb. 15, 1982. Lakin High School Background: A 2002 graduate of Lakin High School, where he earned unanimous all-league and second team all-state honors for the Broncs baseball team. Also earned all-state honors in football and basketball. Personal: Born Sept. 27, 1983. Son of Kim Lohman and Brad Fuller. Majoring in criminal justice. His mother played basketball at Fort Hays State. #3 Jerad Head FRRS • SS • B/R 6-1 • 180 Topeka, Kan. Kansas State University Background: A transfer from Kansas State, where he sat out the 2002 season as a redshirt. A 2001 graduate of Hayden High School, where he earned all-state honors in football, basketball and base- ball. Led the state with a .603 batting average as a junior and hit six home runs. Also plays basketball for the Ichabods. Personal: Born Nov. 15, 1982. Son of Murray and Brenda Head. His father played football at Kansas State, while his mother played tennis at Kansas State. Blue Valley Northwest High School At Washburn as a sophomore in 2002: Started 27 games in the Ichabod outfield, batting .304 with 24 hits and scored 12 runs. Stole six bases in nine attempts. At Washburn as a freshman in 2001: Started 31 games in left field, settling into the leadoff spot in the lineup late in the season. Batted .312 and was successful on 16 of 17 stolen base attempts and had a .481 on base percentage. Collected three hits at Kansas on May 1. At Washburn as a freshman in 2000: Sat out the season as a redshirt. Background: A 1999 graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School. Played baseball and wrestled in high school and was a member of Northwest’s 6A state fourth place finishing baseball team in 1999. Personal: Born Nov. 2, 1980.
