Your order needs to be paid in full two weeks prior to pick-up or delivery. This can be done with cash, check or credit card. The down payment of 25% and the amount goes toward your balance. At the time of paying for the reservation in full, we take 10% or $25.00 (whatev- er is greater) security deposit. This deposit must be done on a credit card. It is fully refundable as long as items are returned and no damage has been done. Cancellation There is a 25% cancellation fee of the total order if reservation is cancelled more than 2 weeks prior. There is a 100% cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled within 2 weeks of the reservation date. If a reservation is cancelled but rescheduled, there are no fees incurred. Howev- er, the same items may not be available, but we will do our best to find suitable substitutes. There is no penalty if a reservation is cancelled due to extreme weather. i.e.: tor- nado, ice storm, blizzard. What is the Damage waiver? The damage waiver covers you if some kind of act of God damages or destroys the items while in your possession. You can decline the fee. Just know that if you do, you are fully responsible for any damages done to the items while they are in your care. The damage waiver never covers you if you deliberately damage the items. i.e. you or guest set something on fire or vandalize and deface something. What is a Handling fee? If you opt for delivery, you will also be charged a handling fee. Our delivery fee is a flat fee based on location, whether you have 1 item or 100. The handling fee takes into consideration the items, the load and unload time, and a charge is made accordingly. 4 211 PEACH WAY, COLUMBIA, MO 65203 • 573.474.7881 In House Operation We take pride in our in house operations at A-1 Rental. Linens Our facility includes three industrial sized washing machines, two industrial dry- ers, and two presses. To our knowledge we have the largest press in town. This enables us to prep all our linen production in house. After cleaning and pressing we package and bag our linens to keep them clean until they go out on rental. Dishes We have a restaurant grade dishwasher to handle all our silverware, China, glass- ware, and more. This machine keeps everything sparkly and spot free. Just like the linens, we bag or package everything to keep it clean for the next rental. Misc. A-1 spends the winter months meticulously maintaining their rental items, prepar- ing for the warmer months and event season. This includes but is not limited to scrubbing all the tents, washing chairs, shining the silver, and touching up paint. At A-1 we feel these processes make us stand-out. We maintain a quality con- trol that couldn’t be accomplished if we outsourced these jobs. What makes A-1 stand out more than anything is the strong family like atmosphere amongst the employees and their dedication and love for the job! What I Wish I Knew After-hours fees $150.00 If we have to deliver, pick-up, or set up at a time not within our normal business hours, you will get charged this fee. If the job takes more than one employee, this fee will apply to each staff member needed. Reason being we do not have people staffed during these times, and there is a cost attached to this exception. Site-checks We are more than happy to do a site check. In fact we prefer it. We do charge a delivery fee for a site check but waive the fee if a reservation is made. Some jobs that are made easier by site checks are, but are not limited to, tents, pipe and drape, and lighting. A1PARTYFUN.COM • [email protected] 5 Free set-ups Did I say free? Some services include free setup if you pay for delivery and pick- up. These services include chair cover set-up, pipe and drape set up. Our tents include free delivery along with your other items on your contract as long as you are within Columbia, MO city limits. (This excludes the OTC style of tent). Borrowing Do you have a reservation and want to see the rental in the event space? You can borrow an item for a reasonable amount of time at no charge as long as the item is available during the borrowing time period. Received damaged, dirty, or broken rentals If you receive damaged items, contact us immediately. We will do everything in our power to get you what you need replaced or fixed in time for your event. If you call us after hours, leave a voicemail and someone will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We pride ourselves in customer service. If we are unable to replace damaged rental items, you will not be charged for that item(s). Cleaning your rentals All rentals must be returned clean and in the same condition you received them. You’re subject to a cleaning charge if items are returned dirty. This doesn’t change our awesome in house quality control systems. All items are still cleaned or sanitized on return. There is one exception to our cleaning policy. Linens can be returned dirty. From BBQ sauce to red wine, we can remove any nasty stain. Any linen returned with wax, mold, rips, tears, or burns will be considered ruined and you will be charged accordingly. Mold? When linens are moist or have food remnants on them, they can mold quick- ly when they are exposed to Missouri’s humid or hot weather. This can happen even faster when dirty linens are in a closed vehicle or space for an extended period. What is a 1 day rental? Pick up during business hours and return the next business day during business hours. What is a 3 day rental? Pick up during business hours and return 3 business days later during business hours.
