Subsequent guilds obtain their placement based on the amount of previous guilds that have a quicker rank than them in which they become one (1) placement higher. Placements are starting at one (1) and a lower placement is considered better. §2 PENALTIES §2.1 Penalty applications Admins have the right to disqualify any guild from the race that is in violation of paragraphs: three (§3), four (§4), five (§5) with accordance to the regulations. §2.2 Bans, disqualifications and suspensions Suspension prevents a specific player or guild from participating in any competition for a specified amount of time. If a guild continues to use said player the guild will automatically be disqualified. Bans prevents a specific player or guild from participating indefinitely. Bans and suspensions can be appealed within one (1) week of the subject being notified. Disqualified players or guilds are withdrawn from the race but may participate in upcoming races unless suspended or banned. The guilds representative will be notified immediately if either the guild or a player within the guild receives any penalty. §2.3 Reporting another guild Guilds may report other participants to the admins in cases of them violating the regulations. Admins may also start investigations on their own accord and on behalf of the organizers initiative. Reports must be made within one (1) week of the incident. Investigations may require the testimony of the involved players and will be summoned by the admins, in these cases a guild representative is also allowed to partake. §2.4 Penalty appeal Appeals shall be sent to [email protected] within one (1) week of the subject being notified and must contain new and significant evidence or information for a review of the incident to be made. Appeals that do not meet the requirements may be denied. §2.5 Joining guilds Once a guild receives a penalty the players in the guild are prohibited from joining new guilds where four (4) or more players from the guild referred to have joined. All players involved in violation of this paragraph are subject to suspensions or bans. §3 PARTICIPATION §3.1 Participation Limits Each player may only compete for one (1) guild. Each guild may only have one (1) attempt per raid reset. 2021 Raid Masters: Naxxramas Sprint Regulations §3.2 Participation times Guilds may choose one (1) time slot for each week that the competition is ongoing, time slots for all weeks must be selected at least twentyfour (24) hours ahead of the start of the competition. If a guild does not select a time slot within the required deadline a time slot will be given to them that is based on their time zone. Guilds must start their speedrun within five (5) minutes after their time slot starts, if there is a delay beyond that it is up to the admins to decide if the run will be allowed. The organizer can enforce a delay on any time slot for all guilds if necessary and all guilds within the time slot will be notified. §3.2.1 Time slots These are the time slots for the guilds to choose between, all times are in UTC+0 and in March 2021. Wednesday 10th 18:30 Wednesday 10th 20:30 Thursday 11th 01:00 Thursday 11th 18:30 Thursday 11th 20:30 Friday 12th 01:00 ------------------------------------ Sunday 21st 19:30 Sunday 21st 21:30 §3.3 Warcraft Logs Requirement All guilds must have at least two (2) players submit live and complete logs by using the Warcraft Logs Client during their speedrun attempt for it to be eligible. Any user modification of the log file or reverse engineering of the client will result in disqualification and a ban. §3.4 Livestream Raid Masters reserves exclusive rights for broadcasting and streaming for all its events and the right to use and edit all of the video material recorded during the competition. Guilds are however allowed to stream their own attempts but must have “Raid Masters: Naxxramas Speedrun” in the title. §3.4.1 Livestreams Requirement All guilds must provide at least two (2) players that are broadcasting the entire run from start to finish to be eligible. These players must broadcast directly to our production and provide a RMTP feed. §3.4.2 Livestream Feed The players that are assigned to provide live feeds in accordance with paragraph three (3) section four (4) subsection one (1) must only show the game capture of World of Warcraft and may not add any additional layers such as texts, images or anything else of the kind with one exception for putting a guild logo to cover the frame called “DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME” in the game, any other chat frames must be removed. The guild logo may be placed on a black background and must be 440x200 pixels or smaller. The image must be uploaded 2021 Raid Masters: Naxxramas Sprint Regulations during the signup and may only be changed or altered with the approval of the tournament organizer. §3.4.3 VoD Requirement All livestreams must be available to the public for at least two (2) weeks after the competition concluded. §3.5 Interviews All participating guilds must have at least one available person to partake in interviews. §4 PLAYER BEHAVIOR §4.1Chat and voice behavior Harassment, racism, sexism and discrimination is strictly forbidden in any form of communication and may result in a player disqualification and suspension or ban. §4.2 Match fixing All players and guilds must play to win and may not try to impact the result of the competition by helping or assisting another guild exclusively in any shape or form. §4.3 Gambling and betting Players and coaches, as well as lobby hosts and staff from Raid Masters are prohibited from gambling or betting on any matches in any Raid Masters competition. §4.4 Inappropriate names and logos Raid Masters reserves the right to edit any team names or logos that break the following rules: a) Has resemblance or are identical to any brand or trademark that they personally don’t own b) That is protected by third-party rights and you don’t have written permission to use c) That is trying to imitate a real person other than themselves d) That is pure nonsense e) Discriminatory names, including but not limited to any language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation is not allowed at all §5 PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY §5.1 Discord All guilds must have at least one (1) player connected to the official Raid Masters Discord. §5.2 Information feed All information for the competition is subject to change and it is every guild's responsibility to stay updated about any changes before and during the competition has started. 2021 Raid Masters: Naxxramas Sprint Regulations §6 CHEATING AND HACKING §6.1 Exploiting Any guild that defeats any boss in the raid with the help of exploits are subject to disqualification and a full guild or player suspension or ban. §6.2 Hacking and 3rd party programs All use of 3rd party programs that are giving an in-game advantage is prohibited excluding addons. Changing any WoW game files outside of the default WTF and Interface folder is also prohibited. This includes and is not limited to: a) Automating gameplay b) Speed hacking c) Fly hacking §7 PRODUCTION §7.1 Voice communication access The race organizer must be given access to each participating guild's voice comms and the production team of the race is permitted to record and broadcast samples of conversations between players. Strategically compromising conversations will be left out. §8 TECHNICAL PROBLEMS §8.1 Player related problem All players are responsible for their own technical issues both hardware and network. Attempts won’t be restarted just because someone disconnects and/or their game crashes. §8.2 Server related problems In the case of server related problems that are affecting a huge amount of players in the game related to Blizzard services the admin will decide on what actions to take in response. §9THIRD PARTY RULES §9.1 Warcraft Logs All guilds attempts must comply with the rules set by Warcraft Logs and be eligible and listed for Naxxramas P6 Without Skips leaderboard. https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/help/naxxramas §9.2 Blizzard Entertainment All guilds and players must comply with the Blizzard Entertainment Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. §9.3 Twitch The players that are assigned to provide live feeds in accordance with paragraph three (3) section four (4) subsection one (1) must comply with the Twitch Terms of Service. §10 PRIZE MONEY §10.1 Placement based distribution The top three (3) guilds receive prize money based on their placement in the competition. 2021 Raid Masters: Naxxramas Sprint Regulations 1.
