Ive been playing Hitman 2 again recently, I have the Legacy Pack and the Expansion Pass. But recently I get the Get Access on all Hitman 2 missions except the first one. I checked my Hitman 2 game in manage games and everything is installed. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there an easy fix? Subscribe Subscribe to RSS feed. Report abuse. Replies (3) I had this happen to me. I am guessing you have reinstalled the Free-To-Play Hawkes Bay level. Once you do that you need to go to the store and re-download the levels you had previously. When you go into the store it will be obvious for any levels you have bought via the store. For the Legacy stuff you may need to read IOIs guide here - https://www.ioi.dk/hitman-legacy-faq/ Xbox Ambassador since 2011. Report abuse. 4 people found this reply helpful. Was this reply helpful? I would totally say that uninstalling the game and the packs is a legitimate troubleshooting step you may want to try, but I also suggest trying the steps outlined in our support page entitled Game Issue Solution as well. When you get the chance, give those steps a shot and let us know if that helped. Hitman 2 Guide. Murderous precision. Hitman 2 Guide is a comprehensive collection of tips and a detailed walkthrough for this demanding action game. Thanks to our guide you will learn about all the variants of completing the mission, and what conditions must be met in order to get trophies. Our guide to Hitman 2 will help you complete the game in 100%. The guide contains descriptions of all six story levels along with the challenges which are an important part of his game. Every chapter of our walkthrough contains descriptions of the story missions , a list of challenges related to assassinating a target and discoveries, information about the most important costumes and useful items . The guide also contains FAQ chapter with a few tips - for beginners and those who don't remember much from the first game. The last chapter focuses on trophies/achievements - available on XONE, PS4, and PC. There, you can read their descriptions and learn how to unlock every single one of them. Hitman 2 is another game in the series focusing on the story of . As the best assassin in the world, you are ordered to assassinate targets in various parts of the world: USA, Columbia or Mumbai. With every mission, Agent 47 will have to kill more and more targets. You can do that by using your own plan or by following a default way of assassinating a given target. The game gives you a lot of options: there are plenty of ways in which you can complete a given mission, and the number of challenges which are related to the most interesting ways of completing an objective will provide you with hours of fun. Color markings. The guide uses the following color markings: Bold - important information and notes. Bronze - key characters. Blue - items you can pick up / use, and costumes. Green - locations (their names are the same as on the map), and useful hints. Difficulty levels. The game offers three difficulty levels: Casual - unlimited saves and autosaves; the biggest number of useful items; fewer cameras and guards. Professional - unlimited saves and autosaves; a lot of useful items (placed in such way that wouldn't force you to run across the entire map to collect them). Master - you only have one save per a mission; the number of items on a map is limited - you can always find tools and items for every type of execution but instead of a few of them, you will find only one or two (i.e. poison). NPCs have better hearing, certain assassinations can stain clothes with blood, and you don't get any tips for the story missions. Choose the easiest level only when you can't complete a given mission or when you are doing it for the first time - it will be easier for you to explore and learn the map. Higher difficulty levels give you more points, unlock challenges and trophies/achievements (those that require you to complete a mission on Master difficulty level). Note - due to the different placements of items and tools which are caused by difficulty levels the guide focuses on missions and challenges completed on Professional level. We have also included the differences between this level and Master. Besides that, the guide also contains alternate ways of completing missions. Challenges. Challenges are additional content that diversifies every mission in Hitman 2 . Personally, I think that this is the most interesting way of making the game last longer. They have different requirements, i.e. find an item or intel, eliminate side targets. However, their most important role is that they determine the way in which you should eliminate your main target. Many of these methods require ingenuity. Kill your targets in various ways to receive a lot of points and increase your mastery level; this also gives you a chance to unlock a lot of trophies/achievements. Mastery points allow you to unlock items and weapons that you can smuggle into a mission area. These items and weapons are also necessary for unlocking certain challenges. The game has a few repeatable challenges, i.e. every mission has a challenge in which you have to kill your target with a headshot, by drowning them or to collect all the costumes. You don't have to finish a mission to complete a given challenge. Make a save and load it whenever you complete an assassination challenge. Note - challenges are only available when you are playing online! Summary. You get points after every mission. Their amount depends on which challenges you have completed, how much time you have spent on this mission, the way in which you have assassinated the main target; the game also counts how many guards you have killed, how many cameras you have destroyed, how much intel you have collected etc. This amount is reduced by killed non-targets, by being detected, number of raised alarms etc. Important - you get the biggest amount of points by completing challenges. You don't have to finish a mission to complete a given challenge. Reload your previous save when you are sure that a given challenge has been completed. You can also replay the mission and focus on another challenge. However, you need to complete a mission if you want to see the summary of completed challenges, and to receive your points. Use your points to unlock new items available in a mission briefing. You can also smuggle them and place in a specified location in a mission's area. You also unlock new smuggling places and starting locations, including those where you can start in a costume. Some challenges are unavailable until you unlock the right level. Briefing. Every mission starts with a briefing. Here, you can choose your starting location (only after you get points in a given mission) and items that will help you complete main and side objectives. Get points in a specific mission to unlock the option to select your starting location and places where you can collect smuggled items. To get new items, complete complex challenges that give you items instead of points, and increase your level (thanks to points received at the end of every mission). Mission stories. Mission stories are available after you complete the second mission in Hitman 2 - Miami (The Finish Line) . How does it work? Explore the map and look for people who can give you information, or items - they will allow you to start a plot that will make an assassination easier (and will give you additional points at the end of a mission). Every mission has a few objectives - you need to start them in a certain way. These missions give you clear directions as to what you have to do, and they usually have interesting effects, i.e. gathering multiple targets in one place, relocation of your target getting access to new weapons/items . Note - you don't get any hints on the Master difficulty level! Instinct. Agent 47 can use a special skill called Instinct . Press and hold the button - this makes the screen darker. It allows you to: See enemies through walls (some of them will have dots above their heads) - it means that this person can be very suspicious of you when Agent 47 is in a given area (or is in a certain situation - i.e. when you carry a weapon in your hand). See items - from weapons to small keys. They are marked gold. However, you can only see items that aren't obstructed by other objects (i.e. you won't see what is behind a building's wall or inside a locked drawer; however, you will see a brick lying on the ground). Use Instinct as often as possible, especially before you perform an action. Combat. Our assassin will win every hand-to-hand fight. Below you can find a few tips: Hand-to-hand combat makes noise - expect reinforcements or a bystander who will want to see a dead body. The only way to kill someone quietly is to strangle someone from behind. Usually, you need two hits to end a fistfight; some of them can make a fight last longer - this happens when they surprise attack you. After that, you will have to press a few other buttons. A beaten enemy is rendered unconscious. An enemy that was knocked out can get up - it will happen when someone finds them. You can pretend that you are surrendering to an opponent approaching you with a weapon (the game will inform you about this option). Hold the right button and let the enemy get close to you - 47 will attack that enemy automatically when they get close to him. When you are fighting with a guard, you need to finish that enemy off while they are on the ground - otherwise, that person will get up (beat this person again and they will get knocked out). Eliminate enemies by using your fists or blunt weapons - their clothes won't get damaged. Firearms, explosives or sharp items will damage clothes. Almost every item carried by Agent 47 can be used as a weapon - whether it is a screwdriver, a crowbar or a frying pan. Hit an enemy with it or throw that item - sharp items are deadly, blunt items will only knock an enemy out. Throwing and attacking enemies with items also makes a little bit of noise. Agent 47 is fast enough to knock out two guards standing next to each other by using a blunt weapon - one of the enemies will recognize your face. However, that person will be unconscious - hide their body well. Hiding yourself and bodies. Hide and cover your tracks to remain undetected: Hiding is important. You can avoid enemies by hiding behind any obstacle - the best way to do that is to stick to a wall. Enemies can still see you when a part of your head is sticking out while you are hiding behind a wall. Precision is crucial here, unlike in a few other stealth games. You can hide in wardrobes or chests. However, this can also be a trap for you when someone saw you hiding in one of these objects. You can also use chests and wardrobes to hide bodies. Usually, you can fit two into one object (they will never be found; you can always use them to get a costume from a hidden body). Other methods of hiding bodies: throw them into an inaccessible place - into water or above rails at the end of a map, or you can "reprocess" them (by, i.e. feeding them to animals). Enemies that were knocked out can also be hidden in tall grass. Remember, killing enemies results in fewer points - side assassinations don't cost you that many points but they block you from numerous challenges related to precision (alarms, detections, assassinations). Costumes are crucial if you want to remain undetected - you can get clothes of almost every person working as a guard or an employee working in key buildings. You can also get costumes of VIPs and other special characters - every map usually has a few high-rank characters or those who have special privileges (these people can be found only in specific locations). You can also hide in a crowd - you are safe as long as an enemy with a dot above their head doesn't get too close to you. Sometimes, you can help yourself by throwing a brick or distracting someone when you are still hiding in a crowd. This will help you remain undetected. Costumes. Costumes are your key to success. They provide you safety in certain areas. Some of these costumes also allow you to perform special activities. Costumes are rarely found in dressing rooms or lying on the ground. Usually, you have to do some extra work to get them, i.e. by knocking an enemy or a civilian out. There are no characters who can move freely in every zone, Change your costume frequently, You can still get a costume from a person that was thrown into a garbage bin or was hidden in a wardrobe, Costumes left on the ground don't disappear, You can't wear women's clothes, You need to be careful on higher difficulty levels - clothes stained with blood (when you kill someone with a weapon or a sharp item) are useless. Hitman 2 Video Game. genre: Action. More About Hitman 2. Less than 700 gigabytes of storage space available to PlayStation 5 owners means one thing for most of us annoying compromises. Let it go - when you feel that your unlimited hours of pure grind, daily activities, daily challenges and in-game tasks connected with time-limited content have turned into a full-time job with a miserable salary. Hitman, or Agent 47, is incredibly inventive in fulfilling his contracts. Does history have equally unusual cases of real assassinations? Let's check it out. The new feature in Hitman season 2 that caused perhaps the most joy among the fans was giving up on the experiment of episodic releases. But did the developers really made a good call when caving in to the pressure from the complaining bunch? Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Forza Horizon, FIFA 19, new Tomb Raider. These recent hits are very different from one another, but there is a certain common denominator all these games could be played a few days before the release. if you paid extra. How To Ensure Your Old Hitman Data Follows You To . Hitman 3 , out today for pretty much all of the platforms, sees Agent 47 continue his spree of heinous crimes, including murder and travel journalism. Like the previous entry in IO Interactive’s sumptuous Savile Row simulator, you can import levels and character progression from prior games. It’s only a matter of knowing what to do—and what not to do. What are the ground rules? First, you’ll need an IOI Account. If you don’t have one already, you can create a new one here . Don’t worry. It’s free. You can only carry progression within the same console family. If you played Hitman 2 on PS4, for instance, you won’t be able to port your data to an Xbox One or PC copy of Hitman 3 . Intergenerational leaps are fair game, though, so you can bring Hitman 2 PS4 data to a PS5 copy of Hitman 3 . (IO Interactive offers a next-gen upgrade for Hitman 3 at no extra cost.) You also can’t decide which aspects of your character you want to port. It’s, per IO , an “all or nothing” deal. Here’s what comes along for the ride: Player profile XP rank Location mastery levels Location mastery unlocks Challenge progress Challenge unlocks Elusive Target suits and unlocks. The transfer is a one-time process, too. Doing so will wipe any progress you’ve made in Hitman 3 , so it’s best to get squared away before you start playing. The process won’t, however, delete your data from Hitman 2 , but you won’t have synchronicity between Hitman 2 and Hitman 3 . Any progress you make on Hitman 2 levels in Hitman 3 won’t affect your Hitman 2 game, and vice versa. Once you’re cool with everything, hit up IO’s dedicated carryover site to copy your data. At the moment, the site is experiencing some turbulence. In a tweet Wednesday afternoon, IO Interactive stressed patience and said that transfer requests are currently being processed, even if you encounter a failure notification. On PC, IO says you’ll need to boot up Hitman or Hitman 3 to successfully initiate a transfer. ( Hitman 2 is not currently available on the .) There’s no way to carry data from Hitman 2 to 3 on the since the second entry isn’t playable on the Switch. How do I get Agent 47 to Marrakesh or Paris in Hitman 3 ? Levels from Hitman and Hitman 2 are available as pieces of downloadable content called Access Packs. On consoles, if you own digital versions of either game, you’ll be able to access these via the Store tab in the main menu, where they should be listed as “free.” (Trying to track down the Access Packs via each console’s proprietary storefront may show them listed as full price.) The first Hitman is available only as the Game of the Year edition—which bundles all of the additional content for that game in one package—while Hitman 2 is available in three options: the standard edition, the expansion pass, or the catch-all gold edition. The process is more complicated if you own those prior games on disc. Owners of Hitman will first need to port levels into Hitman 2 , via the Hitman Legacy Pack. (That process is detailed here .) After that’s settled, you should see the Hitman: Game of the Year Access Pack pop up in the Hitman 3 store. On Xbox, you’ll need to own either Hitman 3 or Hitman 2 - Starter Pack —a free one-off, the Hawke’s Bay mission—to get the Hitman 2 standard edition Access Pack to show up in Hitman 3 . Owners of Hitman 2 ’s gold edition should have received a boxed-in scrap of paper with a code for the expansion pass. Hope you didn’t toss it before redeeming! PC Players Will Have To Buy Hitman 2 All Over Again To Unlock Its Levels In Hitman 3 (Update: A Fix . IO Interactive outlined how levels and progress will be carried over to Hitman 3 from the previous… PC players are, for the time being, SOL—kinda. If you’ve purchased Hitman 3 on the Epic Games Store—where it’s currently a timed exclusive —or plan to purchase it within 10 days of launch, you’ll get the first game’s Access Pack at no extra cost. Hitman 2 is another story. IO Interactive is currently working on a fix that will allow existing players to transfer levels and progress. Right now, the Gold edition Access Pack is available at an 80 percent markdown, but that price expires on February 3. Okay, cool. How do I get me to Marrakesh or Paris IRL? Let’s have that conversation once the governments of the world start taking this pandemic seriously and work on rolling back international travel restrictions, so…. 2024? 2025? New York Location aka The Bank (Expansion Pass) The Bank is the first sandbox location for Expansion Pass owners and takes Agent 47 to New York and the Milton-Fitzpatrick Investment Bank. New Special Assignment: Illusions of Grandeur Agent 47 returns to Mumbai for a new mission, with a new target: Basil Carnaby. New Special Assignment: Embrace of the Serpent Agent 47 returns to Santa Fortuna for a new mission, with a new target: Blair Reddington. Game Update 2.40: What’s Changing? New York Support We’ve added a new location to the menu (New York) featuring the campaign mission ‘Golden Handshake’. Contracts Mode support has also been added, include the ability to create and search for Contracts in New York. New trophies and achievements have also been added for the new location. (You must have access to the New York location to access this content and earn the trophies / achievements) Reload HUD We’ve added a new element to the HUD that will inform players when their weapon needs to be reloaded. The Reload HUD appears for a few seconds in the centre of the screen and will flash yellow with 1 shot left in the magazine and red when the magazine is empty. The Reload HUD can be toggled to Full (default), Minimal or Off in the Gameplay Settings. When set to Full, the reload indicator will appear in the centre of the screen before moving to the weapon HUD (bottom right). When set to Minimal, the reload indicator will only appear in the weapon HUD. When it’s off, it’s off. Except in Sniper Assassin Mode, where the Reload HUD is always active. Note: The red warning will remain active for Sniper rifles when scoped/zoomed. Silent Assassin Inconsistencies We’ve fixed some issues with inconsistencies relating to the Silent Assassin tracker, scoring, XP awards and challenge unlocks. For example, some cases of an NPC discovering a target killed by an accident would result in the Silent Assassin rating being awarded only in the ‘Detailed View’ yet any related XP awards and challenges would not be unlocked. This change should make everything consistent. Challenge Types We’ve moved all 5 Assassination Challenges that were previously included under the ‘Feats’ category and moved them to the ‘Assassination’ category instead. The specific challenges are Tasteless, Traceless, Hold My Hair, Someone Could Hurt Themselves, Piano Man and Straight Shot. Language Barriers We’ve fixed a community-reported issue in the game’s menu where certain location names were illegible when using Italian, Polish or Spanish language settings. Flying Fish We’ve fixed a community-reported issue where a fish would appear swimming through the air in the Miami Parking Garage after approximately 7 minutes. Players will now have to wait for 7 hours for the fish to appear. Swimming Mode We’ve fixed a community-reported issue that could cause 47 to go ‘swimming’ in Whittleton Creek. More specifically, it was possible to leave the playing space and have 47 end up in the river. Gardening Work We’ve fixed an issue that could cause a tree to be floating in mid-air on the Himmelstein Sniper Assassin map. Body Discovery: Off We’ve fixed an issue that could cause NPC’s to be unable to see bodies that were dumped over a specific ledge in Miami. We’ve offered some of them laser eye surgery and expect them to feature in a future set of release notes when they can see 47 through a wall. Losing the Spark We’ve fixed an issue where the Disposable Scrambler does not emit any sound when being used on a locked door. SMG – S We’ve fixed a community-reported issue where the TAC-SMG S was missing the final ‘S’ in various places. Suite Typos We’ve fixed a few community-reported typos in the descriptions for the Black Winter Suit and Midnight Black Suit. Legacy: Club 27 Master We’ve fixed an issue that was preventing the ‘Suit Only’ Challenge from unlocking on Casual or Professional Difficulties after players had successfully completed the challenge on Master Difficulty. Legacy: Writers Block We’ve fixed an issue in The Author from the Patient Zero campaign that could cause 47 to be stuck ‘blending in’ at the start of the mission if the cutscene was skipped. Legacy: Low Lighting We’ve fixed an issue in The Icon where beams of light were coming from lamps that were turned off. Credit Where It’s Due We’ve updated the HITMAN 2 credits to include the names of people that have worked on the game since its launch in November 2018. These updates include new employees and contributors that have worked on the post-launch live content. Ghost Mode Improvements. Target Spawn We’ve fixed a community-reported issue in Santa Fortuna Ghost Mode where consecutive targets could spawn in identical or nearby locations. Connection Stability We’ve fixed an issue that could cause players to get stuck in a loading loop under certain circumstances. Known Issues. We’ve listed some of the game’s known issues below, so that you know we’re aware. We’ve always got eyes on the Technical Support and Bug Report threads on the Forums and Reddit too, so if you’ve reported something there, we almost definitely know about it. To save us from writing it repeatedly, “We are aware of an issue where…” PC players are experiencing “0x8000000_” (and related) crashes. We’re continuing to work on a permanent solution to this with our friends and partners at Nvidia. We recommend that players who have been experiencing this issue use DX12, as this has been reported to fix the issue. Players can encounter problems when dropping items needed for specific exits in Contracts Mode. Diana doesn’t always introduce a target in that trademark way of hers. We’re working on a solution. 47 can get stuck in a specific wardrobe in Mumbai in the Crows Hideout near the stairs. If you enter the wardrobe, you won’t be able to get out again. Contracts created in Mumbai can be insta-failed if the “Required Exit” is set to a taxi driver who is then distracted or affected by combat. The SA rating might not be awarded if 47 is almost/partially noticed by a target before killing them. The SA rating can be sometimes still be achieved after a KO’d body is found or a target is killed with a noticed kill. Muffins and Snowballs are categorised as weapons, rather than melee items. Extra: We received player feedback that an option to toggle the aiming mode would be appreciated. We will add the option in a future update. June Content Roadmap. The June Game Update concludes the content for this month. Stay tuned for more updates about what’s lined up in July.
