Dear Supervisor/ Principal,

Health Talk on “Prevention and Control of Seasonal Influenza, Human Swine Influenza and Hand, Foot & Mouth Diseases”

To facilitate schools to have a better understanding of the preventive measures in combating the spread and handling outbreak of communicable diseases, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) is going to organize five identical health talks on “Prevention and Control of Seasonal Influenza, Human Swine Influenza and Hand, Foot & Mouth Diseases” in collaboration with the Education Bureau. The talks will cover the following topics:

 seasonal influenza, human swine influenza and hand, foot & mouth diseases  how to prevent and control the spread of communicable diseases in schools  how to handle outbreak of communicable diseases in schools Please refer to the Appendix for details of the health talks. Talk 3, which will be conducted in English, is organized for English Schools Foundation and International Schools. The Principal and/or a representative of your school are/is invited to attend the health talk on the specified date. They may also choose to attend other talks if they so wish. For enquiries, please contact your respective Senior School Development Officer.
