Appendiix 8: Priioriitiies for iintegratiive fllora research As part of the trait-based Flora Group analysis of Kooyman and Rossetto (2007), taxa from each group that lacked relevant biological information were identified. This included information on distribution, population structure, population size, population demographics, genetic diversity and structure, reproductive biology and dispersal. The following list identifies the flora of the Planning Area that need to be prioritised for the integrative research. * = high priority taxa; Y = Information available; - = information not available; ip = research in progress Frequency Population Demographic Landscape Distributional of Genetic Genetic Breeding Species structure structure patchiness extent occurrence diversity structure mechanism in habitat Group 1 *Endiandra y y y y y - - - introrsa *Endiandra - - - - - - - - floydii *Hicksbeachia - - y y - - - - pinnatifolia Niemeyera - - y y - - - - whitei *Pouteria - - y y - - - - eerwah Group 2 Olearia - - - - - - - - heterocarpa Bosistoa pentacocca var. - - - - - - - - pentacocca *Bosistoa - - - - - - - - transversa Corchorus - - y y - y y - cunninghamii *Rhynchosia - - - - - - - - acuminatissima *Senna acclinis - - - - - - - - Sophora fraseri - - - - - - - - *Harnieria - - - - - - - - hygrophiloides Zieria collina - - - - - - - - Zieria southwellii - - - - - - - - *Euphrasia bella y - y - - - - - *Gaultheria sp. - - y y - - - - Mt Merino Wahlenbergia - - - - - - - - glabra Wahlenbergia - - - - - - - - scopulicola Cyperus rupicola - - - - - - - - Lepidosperma y - y y y - - - clipeicola Border Ranges Rainforest Biodiversity Management Plan: Appendix 8 1 Frequency Population Demographic Landscape Distributional of Genetic Genetic Breeding Species structure structure patchiness extent occurrence diversity structure mechanism in habitat Group 3 *Bulbophyllum - - - - - - - - caldericola *Bulbophyllum - - - - - - - - globuliforme *Clematis - - - - - - - - fawcettii Dendrobium schneiderae var. - - - - - - - - schneiderae *Sarcochilus - - - - - - - - fitzgeraldii Sarcochilus - - - - - - - - hartmannii *Sarcochilus - - - - - - - - weinthalii Ozothamnus - - - - - - - - vagans Podolepis - - - - - - - - monticola Group 4 Helicia ferruginea y - y y y - - - *Archidendron y - y y y - - - hendersonii *Baloghia y - y y y - - - marmorata *Davidsonia y y y y y ip ip ip jerseyana Diospyros ellipticifolia var. y - y y y - - - ebenus Diploglottis y - y y y - - - campbellii *Endiandra y - y y y - - - hayesii *Endiandra muelleri subsp. y - y y y - - - bracteata Grevillea hilliana y - y y - - - - Melicope vitiflora y - y y y - - - Owenia y - y y y - - - cepiodora Syzygium y - y y y - - - hodgkinsoniae Syzygium moorei y - y y y - - - Tinospora y - y y y - - - tinosporoides Tinospora y - y y - - - - smilacina *Tylophora y - y y - - - - woollsii *Marsdenia - - - - - - - - longiloba Muellerina - - - - - - - - myrtifolia 2 Border Ranges Rainforest Biodiversity Management Plan: Appendix 8 Frequency Population Demographic Landscape Distributional of Genetic Genetic Breeding Species structure structure patchiness extent occurrence diversity structure mechanism in habitat Amyema plicatula - - - - - - - - Group 5 *Davidsonia y y y y y ip ip ip johnsonii *Uromyrtus y y y y y - - y australis Uromyrtus - y y y y - - - lamingtonensis *Gossia y y y y y - - - fragrantissima Fontainea oraria y y y y y y y y *Fontainea - - - - - y y - australis Pouteria cotinifolia var. - - - - - - - - cotinifolia *Phyllanthus - - - - - - - - microcladus Ardisia bakeri - - - - - - - - Myrsine - - - - - - - - richmondensis References Kooyman, R. and Rossetto, M. 2007, Border Ranges Biodiversity Management Plan: Defining plant functional groups for use in resource-limited multi-species recovery implementation scenarios, Unpub. report prepared for DECC, National Herbarium of NSW, Botanic Gardens Trust, Sydney.
