Colorado G Andrew Hammond On His Performance: “I was able to get in a game on the weekend so I think that definitely helped. I think it took me a period to get my legs under me. The unfortunate part is I guess the game-winning ended up getting scored in that period but as the game went on, I settled in and started to feel better. I felt pretty good in the second and third.”

On If He Had Any Pregame Jitters: “Not really. I mean, maybe I was even a little bit surprised there wasn’t. I felt pretty comfortable coming in. I felt good about my game from Saturday and I felt like I could carry that over. It was just unfortunate I couldn’t get my legs under me a little bit sooner.”

Colorado C Carl Soderberg On Tonight’s Game: “They got an early lead and it’s always hard to chase. They played good defensively and [had] good goaltending.”

On The Third Period: “They were sitting back a lot in the third and blocking a lot of shots and we couldn’t really get it through. We tried to get it in there, we tried to get some shots but we couldn’t finish it.”

Philadelphia G Petr Mrazek On Coming In For Philadelphia G : “It’s always tough. The game is on the line and we are up 2-1 early in the second, six or seven minutes in. Like I said before when you go in, always important are the first couple of stops. If you can make a you can get into the game and after that I felt pretty good.”

On The Win: “It feels great. The win was really important for us. Being up 2-0 in their building in the first period, it’s big because we know that in this building the first 10 minutes are critical. Playing back-to-back games too, so the first period was big for us to be leading 2-0.”

Philadelphia RW On The Change In Goal: “Neuvy (Philadelphia G Michal Neuvirth) was playing pretty good, not too sure what happened. But for a goalie to come in, it’s not always easy and he did a good job just battling.”

On Colorado G Andrew Hammond: “He has had a couple good years in Ottawa, we were just trying to get pucks to the net and get some dirty rebounds, and we did a good job getting in front of him.”
