SITE The Show will be held on the Norfolk Showground, Dereham Road, Costessey, Norwich, NR5 0TT, 5 miles west of Norwich, just off the A47 Norwich Southern By-Pass at the A1074 junction (Longwater Interchange). Please use all appropriate entrances, as signed off the main roads closer to the Showground. 2. ENTRIES Entry Fees are as stated beneath each section heading and cheques should be made payable to RNAA. Entries can also be made online at www.royalnorfolkshow.co.uk. Late entries may NOT be accepted and entries in all sections will be subject to space and availability. 3. ACCOMMODATION Exhibitors: A list of convenient Hotels, B&Bs, etc. can be found on our website. Caravans: Caravan Passes priced £30 incl. VAT are available in the designated livestock areas but please be aware that space is very limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note - there are no electric hook-ups in any of the caravan parks. In the interest of comfort and convenience for all exhibitors, the use of generators to provide power to caravans is not permitted between the hours of 10pm and 6am. Showers and Toilet Facilities: These are available in St. Walstans Hall. Stock Attendants: Private Cubicles are available for £20 incl. VAT. These are for one person only, in a permanent building, with a fitted bunk. Exhibitor to provide their own bedding. Doors to cubicles are to be secured by individually coded padlocks which will be provided by The RNAA. These are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Catering: St. Walstans Hall will offer a range of hot and cold food and refreshments. A fully equipped bar will be open until late on both Tuesday and Wednesday evening. 4. STRAW For Cattle, Sheep, Goats & Pigs, straw will be provided. The RNAA or any of its representatives will not be held responsible for any consequential, or other loss, injury or damage done to, or occasioned by, the supply of straw. 5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE OF LIVESTOCK Cattle will be admitted to the Showground during show week from Midday on Monday. Other Livestock will be admitted to the Showground during show week on Tuesday. Arrival and departure times are stated beneath section or breed headings and failure to observe the appointed times may result in elimination from classes and withdrawal of prize money. Access to the Showground will be severely restricted and will be limited only to vehicles displaying a current RNAA livestock pass or other appropriate pass. All exhibitors/attendants of livestock and/or their representatives will need to wear an appropriate wristband. 6. INSTRUCTIONS, TICKETS, VEHICLE PASSES etc Full instructions, admission wristbands, vehicle passes etc. will be issued to all exhibitors approximately 2 weeks prior to the Show. The quantity of vehicle passes that each exhibitor receives will depend on the number of entries/bookings. Support vehicle passes will be supplied where multiple vehicle passes are requested. Please see tables on opposite page: IMPORTANT - VEHICLE PASSES MUST BE CLEARLY DISPLAYED IN YOUR WINDSCREEN TO GAIN GATE ACCESS INTO THE SHOWGROUND. WRIST BANDS MUST ALSO BE WORN. Valid for both days of the Show, these can be purchased at the cost of £18 incl. VAT each. Please Note - exhibitors are asked to check that their allocation of tickets is correct on immediate receipt of their ticket pack. Queries relating to their allocation cannot be resolved after Tuesday 18 June 2019. No duplicate tickets or passes will be issued during the Show period free of charge. All individuals entering the Showground, including the drivers of any livestock trailers, equipment etc. must have a valid entrance ticket or pass or will be required to pay the full price of admission at the entrance to the Show. 7. CANCELLATION OF CLASSES/ENTRIES The Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry, class or section it deems fit. In which case, entry fees (exclusive of any levy payments) may be returned to each exhibitor after the Show. 8. SAFETY & WELFARE The RNAA would like to remind you that it is your responsibility to ensure that all animals are show trained and that all your show equipment is in good condition. Exhibitors must be wearing the correct show dress required to enter the show rings. Please be responsible. 9. PRIZE MONEY AND PREMIUMS Prize monies and premiums will be paid by cheque within 5-6 weeks following the Show.
