They would assist God’s work by offering correction and understanding to Apollos. They met an Egyptian Jew named Apollos who, though was familiar with the Old Testament and had heard of Jesus through the teachings of John the Baptist, Apollos was ignorant of the Gospel Message. Priscilla and Aquila took Apollos aside and explained the Way of God more accurately. With their help, Apollos became a successful supporter of Christ. At a time when women were not as prominent in the synagogue, God used a tentmaker to further His kingdom. QUESTIONS: 1. Are you open to receiving correction in the Scriptures as Apollos was? 2. How has a friendship with another Christian family or friend helped your faith journey?
