This special voyage visits the Isle of Wight during Cowes Week – the world’s oldest and largest annual sailing regatta. For sailing fans, this is a one-of-a-kind experience. Cowes Week dates back to 1826, and today around 8,000 competitors participate in the eight-day event. It’s a remarkable way to see world-class sailing action, with champion yachtsmen and sailing enthusiasts all taking to the water. As well as watching the action unfold, we’ll have an exclusive opportunity to join the celebrations, which include a dazzling firework display.
While on the Isle of Wight, we recommend sampling the afternoon tea at Northwood House Country Manor. For a taste of British culture, you could visit Farringford House, the home of Victorian poet, Lord Tennyson. Our voyage then sails on to Dartmouth, with its wild moorlands and river valleys.
