With the new constitution in hand we are almost ready to move closer to Incorporation. However, an anomaly/contradiction in it regarding qualifications of a club auditor has delayed us proceeding until we are clear as to our obligations. PSP are investigating on our behalf.

With a new committee in place after our AGM on 5th March we have 3 new faces, a change of responsibilities of most office bearers and for the first time an Immediate Past President to take us through 2012-13. We will celebrate our 2nd Birthday at our next General Meeting on April 2 with a different program and a special morning tea. We continue with 100 members and a waiting list closed at 12.

So far this year we have  Visited the Yarra Valley wineries and a brewery  Enjoyed the Johnston Collection  Dined at the Waverley Golf Club  Laughed at “Yes. Prime Minister”  Participated in the Probus Bowls Tournament  Taken a caravan and camping getaway to Traralgon  Tapped along with “Chorus Line”  And welcomed one of our members for the first time as Guest Speaker at a general meeting

We will also  Take a day tour of Etihad Stadium  See Peridot theatre’s “The Peppercorn Tree” in May  Take in the Bobby Darin Story at Whitehorse Theatre  Play golf at Garfield  Attend the races at Carisbrook  Lunch at “Verona” and “Frenchy’s” before the rest of a full program planned for2012
