Tsdo ! Map Information On 17 May, a massive landslide happened in the Dariali Valley in northern Georgia, in the Caucasus range near the Russian border. The landslide originated from the Devdoraki glacier on the northeastern slope of Mkinvartsveri (Mount Kazbek), carrying a huge amount of mud and debris through a valley eastward down to the Dariali Gorge where the river Tergi

flows northward towards Russia.
