To help us stand out from the herd, we have had a long-standing policy of pursuing advanced education and certifications. The Realtors Land Institute (RLI), the land affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, offers their prestigious Accredited Land Consultant designation (ALC). Designees are only selected after they have completed a series of advanced land education courses, including land investment analysis and land tax deferred exchanges. They are also required to write a detailed narrative on 5 transactions to further demonstrate their skills in soliciting, listing, marketing, contracting and closing. I am proud to announce that J. Michael Strahan, MAB was recently awarded his ALC. He makes the third broker in our office to be recognized with this designation, in addition to his Masters in Agri Business degree from University of Florida. We also have several brokers with the designation of CCIM (Certified Commercial Invest- ment Member), an honor that also requires extensive courses and examinations while focusing more on financial analysis and feasibility considerations. Jack Koehler, CCIM was the most recent recipient of the CCIM designation, making him one of the youngest in the nation to have earned this certification. Jack is also hard at work to complete his ALC courses. Chris Bowers has held his CCIM for several years and is closing in on the completion of his ALC as well. Ryan and Bill Eshenbaugh are both dually certified with our ALC and CCIM designations. We are big believers that our continued investment in education can better serve our cli- 2 ents and help make the process go smoother.
