Emballée, l'élève du collège Broussais signait aussitôt une licence, au Bowling-club de la Rance, avec en point d'orgue, l'an dernier, une place d'honneur aux championnats de France minimes. Pour cette saison, celle qui dessine des personnages célèbres à ses heures perdues, met la barre un peu plus haute et après trois manches, elle caracole en tête du championnat de Bretagne, qui se poursuivra le 8 juin, à Vannes (56). Un podium à l'inter régions est également dans ses cordes.     2007-10-18 16:55 CEST Europa utmanar USA i bowling Vid bowlingens världsförbunds (WTBA) kongress nyligen beslutades att det är fritt fram för proffsen att spela VM. - Det är kul att de allra bästa spelarna får chansen att vara med vid de stora mästerskapen, säger Tomas Leandersson, den svenske förbundskaptenen. Under kommande helg får Tomas personligen uppleva hur det är att ta sig an världens ledande professionella spelare. Då avgörs nämligen den åttonde upplagan av Weber Cup, mötet mellan Europa och USA, som har kallats bowlingens svar på golfens Ryder Cup. Tävlingen avgörs i Barnsley, som ligger i mellersta England, och allt spelas på en enda bana som byggs upp för det här arrangemanget. Tomas Leandersson är, precis som vid de tidigare sju mötena, lagkapten för Europas lag. Och hans lag är ute efter revansch, i fjol vann USA med 18-17, den jämnaste matchen hittills. Det var också förra året som man introducerade proffsspelare i Weber Cup. Det utnyttjade båda lagen. För Europas del genom att ta med finländaren Mika Koivuniemi och USA genom att satsa på trion Chris Barnes, Tommy Jones och Jason Couch. I år har Europas lag en stark nordisk tonvikt: Tomas Leandersson (lagkapten), Tore Torgersen, Norge, Paul Moor, England, Mika Koivuniemi och Osku Palermaa (debutant), båda Finland.     I chose because Warm welcome to a cold place When the announcement was made that the 49th Bowling World Cup would be going to Krasnoyarsk, in Russia, a lot of people may have thought that QubicaAMF had taken leave of its corporate senses. Siberia? In winter? But everyone who made the journey will now agree – it was an inspired decision. The ‘World Class’ Sibiryak complex of Hilton Garden Inn hotel, 24 lane ‘Sharovaya Molniya’(Lightning Ball) bowling centre, restaurants, spa and fitness centre was precisely that – World Class. We were the first guests ever to occupy the hotel. Any glitches were fixed quickly and always with a smile. And the local organising committee had set on a team of volunteers who spoke superb English and a variety of other languages such as French, German, Spanish and even Japanese. Krasnoyarsk was closed to foreigners until 1990, but the hospitality shown to players and guests from 76 countries was second to none. Detta är det tionde mötet och USA har vunnit sex gånger mot Europas tre. Dessutom har USA segrat de tre senaste åren då de ställt upp med ett lag fyllt med proffsstjärnor.
