How a trading company became so influential and started interfering in administrative matters. The break out of Mutiny and its causes which are very important to comprehend the intensity of this massive event. The beginning of event and how it reached Multan. What measures were taken in Multan to tackle with the issue and how people reacted is an interesting detail which is discussed here. The role of clans and tribes who sided British and helped against the freedom fighters / Mujahideens is also discussed in detail in the paper. The predatory tribes of adjacent areas of Multan supported freedom fighters but British suppressed them and awarded those who aided the government in suppression of these freedom fighters.
