There is one family campground in the state forest, Old Veteran’s Lake Campground. This campground is located 2.5 miles north of County Road X on Parkway Road. There are 15 non-electric sites available on a fi rst-come, fi rst serve basis; each site has a fi re ring and a picnic table. Pit toilets and a hand pump are available in the campground. A vehicle admis- sion sticker is required for all motor vehicles entering the campground, in addition to the camping fee.
