Cosmetology* Program Mission Statement The students of the Cosmetology Program will satisfy the clock/credit hour requirements of the Georgia State board of the Cosmetology in order to apply for the licensure exam and while doing so will be equipped academically, and be profcient in the practical skills necessary to pass the licensure exams. The Instructional program will also include guidance to build strong, foundational knowledge, processes, and safety procedures. The program is designed to help the student acquire greater self-confdence and professional pride to take to the work force.

* Cosmetology is a term used to incorporate a broad range of specialty areas, such as hairstyling, nail technol- ogy and esthetics (skin care).
