Chanteur classieux trop à l'étroit dans la catégorie "chanson française", poète obsédé par les chiffres, acteur et réalisateur décalé, Katerine est un personnage singulier et attachant doté d'une voix et d'une personnalité à la désinvolture presque surjouée. Profitant de chacun de ses disques pour explorer des territoires variés, il enrichit petit à petit son univers fantasque toujours en prise avec le réel, et crée ainsi une œuvre dont la globalité ne pourra pas être saisie avant longtemps. S'il "fait de [sa] vie un chef d'œuvre", ce dernier devrait ressembler à terme à un long rêve surréaliste aussi drôle qu'effrayant, mais toujours saisissant. Sur son nouvel album, et alors que le rock a maintenant retrouvé la bienveillance des médias, Katerine prend à nouveau tout le monde à contre-pied en optant pour un univers musical beaucoup plus électronique et festif créé en collaboration avec Gonzales et Renaud Letang. Mais le passage à la scène lui permet de surprendre encore une fois puisqu'il invite ses amis des Little Rabbits à un show qui s'annonce, du coup, beaucoup plus rock’n'roll… MERCREDI 7 DÉCEMBRE VENDREDI 9 DÉCEMBRE DAMIEN DAVID WALTERS Auteur/compositeur/interprète de chansons à la poésie DJ émérite, co-fondateur du label bordelais Zimpala, parfois absurde, Damien se joue des différents courants remixeur de Gotan Project et collaborateur de Lahsa et dans la pop moderne. This paper analyses this border as assumed, and tries to de- velop its meaning within a European setting. The academic focus is on regional studies, political geography, spatial planning and border literature, and the paper puts forward an approach to national and regional borders as whole entities to be planned for and managed. The paper analyses variation in the impact of cross- border cooperation in the Northwest region on regional development and the spatial perception of it. The role of stakeholders and of local institutional relationships is considered, and the importance of government and institutional policies, and cul- tural factors, for the growth and success of cross-border activity is examined. The paper focuses, in particular, on recent cross-border projects in the Northwest re- gion. Independent Radio has 2.5 million listeners daily, close to double the daily reach of RTÉ Radio. Communicorp Media and Independent Radio have 800,000 more listeners aged Under 45 than RTÉ Radio and are vitally important in reaching a younger audience. 376,000 people listen to Communicorp Media radio stations only. Communicorp Media provides more than 12,000 hours of Public Service Content a year. Public Service Broadcasting is about the content broadcast rather than the ownership of the broadcaster. RTÉ is not the only provider of Public Service Broadcasting. Radio scored a trust rating of 79% in a recent IPSOS MRBI poll. This compares to 29% for Facebook and 34% for Twitter, showing radio’s importance in an era where fake news is prevalent. 70% of daily radio listening is to a non RTÉ service. This shows content on Independent Radio has a distinct public value. Digital now accounts for 54% of all advertising spend in Ireland with Google and Facebook controlling 40% of the market. Radio advertising spend is down nearly 30% in the last ten years.     IMRO Radio Awards 2017 revealed #IMRO17 All the winners of the 2017 IMRO Radio Awards (formerly the PPI Radio Awards) were announced tonight at the gala ceremony held at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny. Attended by over 600 guests, the Awards were hosted again this year by radio DJ and comic Dermot Whelan. In total more than 677 entries were received, these were then whittled down to a shortlist of 185 which was announced in early September. The highlight Awards of the night for Station of the Year were won by: Full Service Station of the Year RTÉ Radio 1 Music Station of the Year RTÉ lyric fm Local Station of the Year LMFM Outstanding Achievement Award Composing the Island on RTÉ lyric fm • 90 Judges deliberated over the record number of 677 entries. • Judges listened to over 295 hours of the best of radio from both sides of the border, the 2017 Radio Awards have been the most hotly contested in their 17 years of existence.
