    XIV SIMPÓSIO DE RECURSOS HIDRÍCOS DO NORDESTE ANÁLISE DESCRITIVA DE DADOS PLUVIOMÉTRICOS DO MUNICÍPIO DE SERRA TALHADA – PE Ágnes Sales Alves de Sousa 1; Emannuel Henrique Piancó da Silva Martins2; Guilherme Bezerra da Silva Rocha 3; Maria Eduarda Rodrigues da Silva 4& Edevaldo Miguel Alves 5 RESUMO – Em decorrência das recentes crises hídricas registradas em todo país o estudo do comportamento das chuvas mostra-se como uma fonte importante de informações para solucionar o déficit no abastecimento de água e suas consequências, uma vez que o gerenciamento dos recursos hídricos afeta diretamente a economia, sendo a agricultura o primeiro setor afetado juntamente com setores industriais altamente dependentes de água. O presente trabalho traz por objetivo uma análise de uma série temporal de dados pluviométricos no município de Serra Talhada localizado no sertão do estado de Pernambuco. Os dados coletados correspondem à precipitação ocorrida entre os anos de 1999 e 2014 (16 anos), os mesmos foram utilizados para o cálculo de medidas descritivas procurando relacionar a descrição estatística com a ocorrência de eventos anormais na região. ABSTRACT – As a result of the recent water crises recorded in every country, the study of rainfall behavior is an important source of answers to solve the water supply deficit and its consequences, since the management of water resources directly affects the economy. the first affected sector along with highly water dependent industrial sectors. The objective of the present work is to analyze a series of rainfall data in the municipality of Serra Talhada located in the backlands of the state of Pernambuco.
