Another Russian team, Russia-Saint Petersburg, finished second with the same result. The bronze was taken by the team of Montenegro with 14 team points. He won the championship with the final result of 6.5 points from possible 9. GM Lars Schandorff finished second with 6 points, third was IM Christian Kyndel Pedersen with 5 points. This is the 6th title for GM Sune Berg Hansen. The Danish Chess Championship was held in Helsingor, Denmark from 31 March to 08 April, 2012. The Chief-Arbiter was FA Poul Jacobsen.
