THE TEAM OF RUSSIA 1 WON THE EUROPEAN SENIOR TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP’2012

The team of Russia 1 won the European Senior Team Chess Championship’2012 with the final result of 15 team points. Another Russian team, Russia-, finished second with the same result. The bronze was taken by the team of Montenegro with 14 team points.

GM SUNE BERG HASEN IS THE NEW CHESS CHAMPION OF DENMARK

GM Sune Berg Hansen is the new chess champion of Denmark. He won the championship with the final result of 6.5 points from possible 9. GM Lars Schandorff finished second with 6 points, third was IM Christian Kyndel Pedersen with 5 points.

This is the 6th title for GM Sune Berg Hansen.

The Danish Chess Championship was held in Helsingor, Denmark from 31 March to 08 April, 2012. The Chief-Arbiter was FA Poul Jacobsen.
