CHANDLER BRANTLEY CARRIER OF THE YEAR...2011

THE ELPHOS ERALD D Telling The Tri-County’s StoryH Since 1869 The Delphos Herald selects an annual “News Carrier of the Year” in conjunction with International Newspaper Carrier Day. This year’s hon- ored carrier is Chandler Brantley. Chandler, 14, is the son of Chuck and Tiffany Brantley. He has one younger brother, Parker, 12, who also has a paper route with The Delphos Herald, and one younger sister, Madeline, 8. He has been a carrier since August of 2007. His route includes S. Main St., S. Washington St. & Hunt St. Chandler is in the 9th grade at Delphos Jefferson High School. He plans to run track in the spring of this year. He played soccer through the 7th grade and has played baseball and basketball. He also enjoys playing golf. When not delivering The Delphos Herald, Chandler helps out at church as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Kindergarten classes. This past summer he went with his youth group on a mission’s trip to the inner city of Cincinnati. In his spare time he enjoys watching TV and movies, as well as playing video games. His favorite foods are fish and shrimp, and he loves to eat at Red Lobster. A number of requirements must be met to qualify for this elite honor. Some of the requirements for receiving “Carrier of the Year” are: on time delivery, having the paper where the customers request it, and receiving no complaints. As Carrier of the Year, Chandler will receive a plaque, certificate and dinner for his family from the Herald. Congratulations Chandler on a job well done!

We’re Especially Proud And Happy To Salute All Our Newspaper Carriers. THEY GET THE JOB DONE!
