Re-Organization of Health Care British Columbia – Conversation on Health Re-organization of Health Care 2007 July 10 John Living 120 Ellis Road RR#1 S9 C6 Galiano Island BC V0N 1P0 (250)539-5807 [email protected] British Columbia – Conversation on Health Re-organization of Health Care John Living Executive Summary The many reports of ‘Out of Body’ experiences, the evidence that Human Beings have Auras, and that we are more than just physical bodies, can no longer be ignored when considering Healing. Our Health Care system has been hijacked by the pharmaceutical companies with the result that physicians prescribe drugs that attempt to deal with symptoms and effects only in the physical dimension – without healing the causes of sickness that are in the non-physical dimensions. Many prescribed drugs have unwanted and injurious side effects – taking more resources and time of physicians, who prescribe more drugs. This means great profits for the pharmaceutical companies at the expense of health authorities; this system is presently enforced by medical associations who discipline physicians and who proscribe those who seek to use non-physical methods of diagnosis and treatment – which would reduce health costs. To be effective in promoting good health for British Columbians, the Government must regain control of the health care system, and include Healers who work in the non-physical dimensions to heal the causes of illness, not just the symptoms. British Columbia – Conversation on Health Re-organization of Health Care Overview The many reports of ‘Out of Body’ experiences, the evidence that Human Beings have Auras, and that we are more than just physical bodies, can no longer be ignored when considering Healing. Chinese and other eastern healing methods, based on the life forces in living human beings, have been proven to be effective for thousands of years. Native cultures in all places have had Healing methods, using herbs and Spiritual practices including shamanic work. Western medicine of two hundred years ago was rudimentary and ineffective; it has made great advances, developed primarily from examination and study of the deceased. Perhaps Health can be improved when all these methods work together, recognizing that each has a significant role to play. The largest expense of Government Services is Health at 38% of present spending. It is suggested that these costs could be greatly reduced and benefits enhanced by incorporating energy work into the Health system. Historical All the early European communities had Healing systems. When the Roman Catholic Church expanded to these communities it incorporated their festivals into the church calendar, assigning different connotations whenever possible. It saw the Spiritual practices of Healers as opposition to be crushed, claiming that all Spiritual work was the domain of the church; those who persisted were burnt as witches. All schools and universities were linked to the church, and the ‘law’ that all things Spiritual were the domain of the church was mandatory; the developments of science were restricted to the physical plane. More recent universities are not so linked directly to religious organizations, but are modeled on the older establishments, and so follow their procedures. This includes the medical schools that have controlled the development of western medicine. New thoughts are welcomed, providing that they follow the accepted thinking of the establishment. Radical thoughts, along different lines, are seen as a threat to the establishment – many methods are utilized to hold them to ridicule and prevent their acceptance. If you want tenure and the use of available resources, you follow the ‘party line’ – so radical new thought is discouraged, stifled to the detriment of the total society. Any advance is subjected to ‘scientific evaluation’. But even science has no understanding of the life forces, cannot prove the existence (or non-existence) of Spiritual Beings, and refuses to accept oft repeated subjective experiences as any sort of evidence. A change is happening. Physicists are finding that sub-atomic particles have a degree of consciousness, that the thoughts of the experimenter affect the experiment; mathematicians have indicated that there are least ten dimensions – including the ones that we know. Even though we use electrical devices and understand how they work, science still does not fully understand the behaviour of individual electrons – they are ‘there’ and then ‘not there’. Sub-atomic particles do not always obey the mathematical laws of the physical dimension. Western Medical Practice Very intelligent young people want to Heal, so they attend medical schools. They become very proficient in understanding the human body – considered as a bio-mechanism, where organs such as kidneys and hearts can be exchanged rather like replacing filters and pumps in a car engine. The well documented cases of heart recipients changing likes and even life styles have not yet led to the acceptance that humans, as Energy Beings, are affected by non-physical energies. Medical students learn to recognize symptoms and diagnose the causes, and to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs to relieve physical pain and attack physical diseases; they are physicians, and excellent at doing their jobs. But they have not been trained to work with the energies that surround and interpenetrate a human body, so are ineffectual in forms of Healing which need these energies to be addressed. Unfortunately the medical associations see Energy Healing as competition for Health Care dollars, as an attempt to by-pass their corporate services, and as a way to undermine their established organizations. It is interesting that in many cases medical students and doctors have to rely on their Intuition to correctly link symptoms to causes – especially when the patient is not able to describe problems or when more than one set of symptoms is involved. And yet the medical associations persecute doctors who use simple tools as an aid to accessing their Intuitive abilities. One example is the persecution of Don Brannigan, MD (who was many times Mayor of Whitehorse) by the Yukon Medical Association for using a Pendulum as a Dowsing tool to aid his Intuition. Don won every case, but at great expense. He was not a witch doctor, but the attacks were similar to ‘routing out witchcraft’. Western medical practice is replete with examples of new understandings being ridiculed – and finally accepted years later. Germs were thought non-existent; sterilization was a waste of time. Radionics is still not accepted as Healing method for humans – only for animals. Noxious radiations from the earth are ignored by the medical systems of most English speaking countries. Pharmaceutical Companies About 80% of pharmaceutical drugs are derived from herbal remedies. The difference is that the original herbal remedy has a life force as a plant, whereas the manufactured drugs are just a soup of the chemicals found in the herbal remedies. In some cases toxic chemicals are used to extract the herbal essences, and have an injurious effect on the users. Many vaccines have been made using carriers known to have noxious effects on humans. Side effects of many drugs are well known – other take time to become evident. The acceptance procedures for drugs are subject to great abuse. University researchers who fail to give the expected results may not receive further funding. Unfavourable reports are not submitted in approval applications. There are numerous reports of senior staff in the approval organizations of governments later becoming employed by pharmaceutical drug companies. In a number of countries the contributions from pharmaceutical to political parties and election candidates deter politicians from exercising the needed supervision. Yet the approval by one country often leads to acceptance without further investigation by other countries – especially if the country is very influential. If a person is cured, then no more drugs are needed – is this bad for business ? If side effects occur, then opportunities exist to develop and sell more drugs to patients – via the prescriptions of doctors. Pharmaceutical drug companies are spearheading action by governments to restrict the sale of vitamins and supplements – unless produced under ‘approved conditions’. They recognize that the population is becoming more aware of the advantages of using vitamins and supplements – and want to stifle the present producers, take over the manufacturing, and accrue the profits. The proclaimed protection of consumers is a hoax. Big Business Pharmaceutical drug companies are not the only example of big business involved in Health Care. The medical associations and unions of nurses and workers in hospitals are also in the business of looking after the interests of their members – the proclaimed interests of patients is not the primary aim, but a ‘face’ that is displayed to the general public. There are many well intentioned organizations that canvas for donations for research into various diseases. How much unemployment would occur if miraculous cures were actually found ? There are numerous reports of simple treatments that cannot obtain the funding for clinical testing. Is this because the treatments are so simple that they cannot be patented and so form a source of profit ? Let us recognize that the major source of all money funneled into Health Care is the taxpayer – who generally is not aware of all the alternatives available, and who may have little understanding of what is involved.

May 2002 Volume 2, No. 2 Medical Intuition An interview with Nina Zimbelman and Patricia Johnson, MD Nina Zimbelman is a medical intuitive who works closely with Patricia Johnson, MD, a family physician in Robbinsville, North Carolina. IJHC: I am so impressed with how the two of you have come to work harmoniously together, blending intuitive awareness and holistic medical practice. Could you tell us, Nina, how your intuitive gifts developed? N: By the age of 35, I found I had achieved “The American Dream”. My husband and I had been very successful in business, making more money than we needed. Finding that money did not create happiness, I fell into a drug habit that brought me to the place where I had to choose whether to live or die. Knowing on some level it was not time for me to die, I gave up drugs and cleaned up my diet, working to regain my health. In doing so, I was led into macrobiotics, which led to Chinese Medicine. I discovered that the ancient Chinese physicians relied heavily on their intuition in tending to their patients. I began practicing with friends and colleagues, and discovered I have natural intuitive talents. IJHC: Nina, could you say a word about how you came to develop your community? N: Yes. There was never any intention around the community. I had been working in the spiritual world since 1983 and had been doing a lot of research in those dimensions. I just had a really clear connection with “the other world,” so to speak.

Burk L. Psychic/intuitive diagnosis: Two case reports and commentary. J Altern Complement Med 1997;3(3):209-211 The article by Young and Aung (1) on psychic diagnosis and the editorial call for response (2) prompted me to submit these two case reports with suggestions for future researchers. As an academic radiologist specializing in the use of MRI for musculoskeletal diseases since 1985, I found my diagnostic paradigm challenged by the following experience with a medical intuitive in 1992. Case Report #1 A thirteen year old white female who appeared younger than her stated age presented with left sciatica and was referred for radiographic evaluation. A normal film of the pelvis was followed by MR examinations of the pelvis and lumbar spine which revealed a large lesion in the left sacrum with an associated epidural mass at the L5-S1 level. The appearance was felt to be most consistent with a malignant tumor although involvement of the left sacroiliac joint raised the possibility of septic arthritis with osteomyelitis and an epidural abcess. Clinically the patient was not acutely ill or febrile so a biopsy was scheduled for several days later. In the interval between the MR studies and the biopsy a phone call was made to the medical intuitive in another part of the country, and she was given only the name and age of the patient without any information with regard to symptoms or prior imaging studies. After five seconds of silence she replied, "There is a tumor in the pelvis working its way into the spine. This is an immature girl with a terminal condition which is caused by a severe imbalance of her second energy center or chakra.

  • Medical Intuition: Healing Physical Illnesses Such As Autoimmune, Cancer, and Fear-Based Illnesses
Medical Intuition: Healing Physical Illnesses such as Autoimmune, Cancer, and Fear-based Illnesses. What Is Medical Intuition? Medical Intuition is an alternative medicine process where the practitioner or Medical Intuitive uses their intuitive abilities to find the cause of a physical or emotional condition through the use of insight rather than modern medicine. Often the medical intuitive process relies on upper chakra intuition such as clairvoyance (seeing the energy body) or clairaudience (receiving information from guides and angels), because emphatically reading medical issues can result in transference of wounds or unprocessed energy. The Premise of Medical Intuition The premise of medical intuition is that instead of addressing emotional and energetic issues first, the physical symptom presents and the approach is often on how to address what’s under the physical symptom. The premise is also that you are innately whole and the body can heal itself. Life force flows through the central channel from the earth and the cosmos to 72,000 meridians, each sourcing various organs in the body. When it’s fluid - the body is healthy. When there is a block in that flow, life force energy cannot access that organ or area of the body and disease forms and affects other areas of the body. The medical intuitive process is to identify the block and whether it is energetic, emotional or physical, and how old or layered it may be. Medical intuition is a phrase applied to intuitive energy healing to give it more credibility by including the word “medical”, but all intuitive energy healing addresses the layers underneath physical, emotional, and psychological issues.

  • The Natural Power of Intuition
THE NATURAL POWER OF INTUITION: EXPLORING THE FORMATIVE DIMENSIONS OF INTUITION IN THE PRACTICES OF THREE VISUAL ARTISTS AND THREE BUSINESS EXECUTIVES by Jessica Jagtiani Dissertation Committee: Professor Judith Burton, Sponsor Professor Mary Hafeli Approved by the Committee on the Degree of Doctor of Education Date 16 May 2018 Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Doctor of Education in Teachers College, Columbia University 2018 ABSTRACT THE NATURAL POWER OF INTUITION: EXPLORING THE FORMATIVE DIMENSIONS OF INTUITION IN THE PRACTICES OF THREE VISUAL ARTISTS AND THREE BUSINESS EXECUTIVES Jessica Jagtiani Both artists and business executives state the importance of intuition in their professional practice. Current research suggests that intuition plays a significant role in cognition, decision-making, and creativity. Intuitive perception is beneficial to management, entrepreneurship, learning, medical diagnosis, healing, spiritual growth, and overall well-being, and is furthermore, more accurate than deliberative thought under complex conditions. Accordingly, acquiring intuitive faculties seems indispensable amid present day’s fast-paced multifaceted society and growing complexity. Today, there is an overall rising interest in intuition and an existing pool of research on intuition in management, but interestingly an absence of research on intuition in the field of art. This qualitative-phenomenological study explores the experience of intuition in both professional practices in order to show comparability and extend the base of intuition, while at the same time revealing what is unique about its emergence in art practice. Data gathered from semi-structured interviews and online-journals provided the participants’ experience of intuition and are presented through individual portraits, including an introduction to their work, their worldview, and the experiences of intuition in their lives and professional practice.

  • Healing and the Healing Relationship’
‘Healing and the Healing Relationship’ - A look at some wider considerations in the Health and Holistic movement - Joshua David Introduction This article is a metaphysical and philosophical ‘tour’ through the field of ‘holism’ and ‘holistic health’. It seeks to give some context of meaning within which the various therapeutic modalities can be seen to relate to one another. It also aims to provide a wider field guide for the ‘newer consumer’, indicating some of the deeper philosophies implied in ‘radical healing’. Healing and wholeness In English, the terms ‘health’, ‘wholeness’ and ‘holiness’ all derive from a common root. The expression ‘healing unto wholeness’ also conveys that beyond the level of symptom relief and cure, the healing process leads into broader areas of integration, harmony and balance: All is undivided wholeness in flowing movement Wholeness and the Implicate Order: David Bohm You are an instrument of the greatest power in the Universe...Within yourself there are the means for achieving all that is necessary for your growth and development. Guidance from Silver Birch pp 118-117 Every disease can be cured… There is no such thing as an incurable disease. There are only people who could be incurable. Philosophy of Silver Birch pp 133 The cause of all sickness, illness and disease is disharmony. Health is wholeness; health is when there is right rhythm and balance between body, mind and spirit….if they are not in proper alignment, if the focus is wrong somewhere, there is an interference with the natural vitality and so you get illness. Philosophy of Silver Birch pp 123 In the biblical account of the ten lepers made well by Jesus of Nazareth (Luke 17 v.11-19), only one leper returned to give thanks.

  • Energy Medicine: Practical Application of Ancient Wisdom Francesca Mccartney
Energy Medicine: Practical Application of Ancient Wisdom Francesca McCartney Energy medicine is the ancient wisdom inside each human being. It is a bioelectric-based natural intelligence with a magnetic pull directing living organisms toward health. Any deviation from this innate attraction to grounded wellness creates disease. Recently energy medicine has come under increasing study by the scientific community. While energy medicine has existed in various forms for centuries, the current field of energy medicine does not have one absolute definition. The answer to the question "What is energy medicine?" varies according to the energy medicine practitioner. There is no standard scientific understanding or precise meaning of these ideas in the Western scientific paradigm, although various explanations are offered for energy medicine in terms of a vital force or life energy. A new paradigm for researching biology and medicine based on energy information is required to define energy medicine. (Rubik, 1995). The phenomenon of energy and healing was first observed thousands of years ago by Chinese healers who identified twelve major meridians, or pathways of energy, in the body. These meridians link various limbs and organs together in an intricate network. When this energy field is strong and vibrant, the entire organism remains healthy and balanced. When it is weakened or disturbed by any number of factors, the body becomes increasingly subject to weakness, sickness, and eventually death. Over the centuries, healers using energy medicine discovered that they were able to positively influence the body's health by working with its energy field. They taught their patients various techniques such as slow, measured movements, breathing, meditation, and relaxation.
