The wetter or dirtier is the snow, the bigger is the difference • Remember to use respiratory mask with filter P3 . 4 4 Base preparation for Vauhti FC powders: 1 .Clean the ski base thoroughly with Vauhti Clean & Glide cleaning and maintenance agent . 2 .Use an UF, HF, LFrace or liquid product suitable for the snow type and humidity as a base wax . 3 .Scrape and brush the base wax layer carefully, start with roster or brass brush and polish with nylon brush . FC SPEED POWDERS Preparation for Powders: • Spread the powder for entire lenght of the glide surface . • Iron the powder approx . 170–180 °C tem- perature . • Move the iron against the base of the ski with speed that melts the powder perfectly . • Cool the skis thoroughly and carefully scrape away excess powder . • Brush by horsehair brush . Continue with ny- lon brush until the surface is even and glossy . • You can also use an analogous roto brushes . NOTE: Open the base structure of the ski with metal brush if needed . 5 Package size: 20G FC Speed blocks are based on the corresponding fluorocarbon powders . FC SPEED BLOCKS Preparation for block: • Apply some product onto the glide surfaces; adhere by roto cork or by natural cork . • Adhere by roto cork or by natural cork . • Let the skis cool down and scrape lightly . • Start brushing with a few roster brush strokes and brush thoroughly with a nylon brush . • When using roto brushes, brush thorough- ly with roto nylon . If required use horsehair roto brush first . Note: In case of longer distances, iron the bottom layer slightly, cool down the skis, scrape carefully, brush the glide surfaces, add another layer, adhere it by cold rubbing, and brush as above . 7 Package size: 45G In UF-series the composition and the content of fluorinated additives are optimized .
