UIA Relaunches Summer 2020 Flights To Key Domestic and International Gateways

The skies are opening up, the world is awakening, many countries are reopening their borders, and we can finally travel again. UIA is pleased to announce the long-awaited resumption of flights. Starting in July, UIA is reintroducing domestic flights between Kyiv and , and Odesa and international flights to nine destinations as well. In August, UIA will expand its flights to include a total of 25 international destinations. These flights have been scheduled in accordance with the updated Ukrainian requirements for entry for foreign visitors into and for visitors to these important international cities.

UIA plans to gradually increase the number of flight and the number of routes. However, factors beyond our control influence the number of flights and destinations that we can serve.

JULY 1. UIA will operate domestic flights covering three destinations from Kyiv to Kherson, Odesa and Lviv. 1. UIA will offer one-way domestic flights from Kyiv to Odesa, Lviv and Kherson once weekly on Fridays, with flights back to Kyiv on Sundays. This schedule will allow for the development of domestic weekend tourism, at the same time taking into account the interests of national business migration in Ukraine. 2. UIA will operate international flights to nine destinations, from Kyiv 1. July 1 - July 15 1. UIA plans to operate Kyiv (KBP) – (IST) flights every Friday and Sunday, Odesa (ODS) – Istanbul (IST) flights every Saturday, Kyiv – Tel Aviv (TLV) flights on Thursdays and Sundays and from to Tel Aviv (TLV) on Sundays. 2. In addition, twice-weekly services from Kyiv to (AMS) are scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday, and from Kyiv to (CDG) on Wednesdays and Sundays. 2. July 16 to July 30 1. UIA is to increase frequencies by adding Kyiv – Istanbul (IST) and Kyiv – Tel Aviv (TLV) flights on Tuesdays. Flights to Dubai (DXB) will operate every Wednesday and Saturday. The airline also plans to expand its international routes with Kyiv to Larnaca (LCA) flights on Saturdays, Kyiv to (ATH) on Sundays, Kyiv to (LGW) on Mondays and Fridays. As of the second half of July, weekly Kyiv to (YYZ) services are scheduled on Saturdays and vice- versa on Sundays. AUGUST 1. UIA will increase the frequency of domestic flights 1. August 1 -31 1. In the first half of August, only the Kyiv to Odesa timetable will change, with flights to be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and return Odesa-Kyiv services on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. 2. August 16 to August 31, 1. Additional flights will be added to Odesa on Thursday, and back to Kyiv on Fridays.

2. UIA will operate international flights to twenty five (25) destinations, from Kyiv 1. International scheduled services will be operated as per UIA’s scheduled flight program, to Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Dubai, , , Larnaca, Athens, London, Nice, , , , Milan, , , , , , , Chisinau and continue our scheduled flights to Toronto.

As part of the relaunched schedule, flights will only be available for sales as point to point routing and as end-on-end combinations with domestic flights within Ukraine, with other connecting international flights being made available for sale in the near future. As we endeavor to bring the world to Ukraine and Ukraine to the world, UIA will be providing updates and detailed information on its flights and frequencies based on marketplace conditions.

VISITOR ARRIVALS TO UKRAINE The Ukrainian government has entering the country much more understandable. Depending on the country of origin, visitors to Ukraine will either be classified as arriving from a green zone country or a red zone country. Passengers arriving from a "green zone" country will not undergo any observation or self-isolation in Ukraine. All travelers arriving in Ukraine from a red zone country, must remain under a mandatory 14-day observation, or self-isolation period and will be required to use the Ukrainian government’s electronic support system, “Diy vdoma”. All foreign visitors entering Ukraine, and regardless of whether they enter from a green or red zone country, must have proof of insurance which would cover costs associated with treatment and observation in case of a COVID-19 diagnosis while in Ukraine.
