Visite PREAHKHAN : meaning 'sacred sword,’ is a huge, highly explorable monastic complex, full of carvings, passages and photo opportunities. It originally served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks, NEAK PEAN , EAST MEBON and Pre Rup is one of the most popular sunset spots around Angkor, as the view over the surrounding rice fields of the Eastern Baray is beautiful, although some lofty trees have rather obscured it these days. It gets pretty crowded.

• Phnom Bakheng : Phnom Bakheng at Angkor, Cambodia, is a Hindu and Buddhist temple in the form of a temple mountain. Dedicated to Shiva, it was built at the end of the 9th century, during the reign of King Yasovarman.

• Pre Rub : Pre Rup is a Hindu temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

BENG MEALEA temple was built in the 12 century, the layout and style of Beng Mealea is very similar to Angkor Wat. Its current state, however, is dominated by jungle. Trees have grown out of the towers and stone blocks lay around in a tumble and require visitors to climb up and down the completely collapsed central towers. Here you will surely share the experience of awe that the early expeditions must have felt when they came upon the Temples of Angkor in the mid-1800’s.

. Visit Bakong temple is the highlight of the Roluos group. It is the largest and most Interesting of the three.It is surrounded by a moat, and was one of the first Angkorian temples to use the temple mountain architecture idea. That idea was then used for hundreds of years . The name Preah Ko, Sacred Bull, was taken from the three bull statues around the temple. This temple has some of the better preserved plasterwork on its towers . Four (or originally six) brick towers in the middle of the Lolei Baray.The Lolei baray is called Indratataka, measuring 3.8km x 0.8km. It has now all but dried up. . Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. During the dry season when the lake is low, the buildings in the villages seem to soar atop their 6-meter stilts exposed by the lack of water. At this time of year many of the villagers move out onto the lake and build temporary houses. In the wet season when water level rises, the villagers move back to their permanent houses on the floodplain, the stilts now hidden under the water. Kampong Phluk's economy is, as one might expect, based in fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting.

• Mechrey: Tonle Sap Lake at Mechrey is the E-cotourism area that is considered to be the leass touristic place, every visitor enjoy to see the reall country side and behind. The area is located at the northern bank of Tonle Sap Lake region. The accupation of the residence is fishing and farming rice . You will see a landscape with many species of birds flying around and doing nest on the floating forest branches . The early tour start at this place you can also see fishermen staring doing fishing in the morning and enjoy the fantastic view of the reach of fishing net that some have more than 1 km long which helps to catch tons of fish. • Silk farm : The silk farm shows you how the silk behind those beautiful silk wares is produced. At the farm you’ll have your own local guide assigned to you to show you around. You can see the mulberry trees growing on site that sustain the diet of the silk worm, the raw cocoons that are harvested and boiled, and the intricate processes of unwinding fibres, dyeing threads, and spinning and weaving them. It makes you appreciate why silk is no cheap commodity. Perhaps the most interesting part is seeing the myriad women weaving designs on the many looms. • Kompong Khleang is 45km away Siem Reap and located in the flood plain of the Tonlé Sap, the biggest lake in South-East Asia. The water level of the lake fluctuates greatly throughout the year so the villagers live either in houses built on stilts or on floating platforms. During the wet season, from October to January, the Mekong River floods into the Tonlé Sap and the surrounding area. By February and March the water begins to recede so that by April the outer areas of the lake are dry. Now the villages are no longer 'floating', but perch on stilts 10 meters above the ground.

• Phsar Leu Market: is the biggest market in Siem Reap, and likely the most authentic. It is located on National Road 6, on the way to Phnom Penh, about 3km from the center. Usually crowded on the outside, it attracts mostly locals looking for the cheapest prices
