R E A L Esther and Eric have never let geography define their opportunities, and we’re so glad they recognized the value of a school in Jamaica Estates and what possibilities could unfold for their daughter Candace. From the moment they entered our high school’s front door, without hesitation, Esther and Eric became champions of Summit. Awed by Summit staff’s drive to improve the lives of every student, every day, they cheered our students’ successes, seeing the promise of new beginnings for all. And, they were K R delighted when Candace, too, embraced her new opportunity, O Y becoming academically successful while finding the emotional and W E social support that still let her be uniquely her and ready for the N next chapter ahead. Eric Landau, a native New Yorker, is a partner and Global Chair of the Real Estate Department at Paul Hastings LLP, an international law firm.
