Tudalen 2 Y Bwletin St. David’s Day Luncheon The annual St. David’s Day luncheon at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club on February 25 was a congenial affair, attended by more than 60 members. The food was tasty, as always, the venue warm and inviting on a rainy day. The speaker, Phil Jenkins, was introduced by David Jeanes, the executive member who was responsible for arranging the talk. Phil delivered a low-key but heart-felt talk on what it means to him to be Welsh. He confided that he will no longer be writing for the Ottawa Citizen—downsizing has hit a number of independent correspondents.
