Her contribution to the brand did not end with naming this spirit, as Margie also proposed the idea of sealing each bottle with wax, a practice that is still applied to this day and has become the Maker’s Mark signature. The weather was absolutely beautiful this year and brought out cars and spectators from all over the area. We had over 280 vehicles th participate, music by Cruisin' Zeake, Mini Car Show, Mister Frosty, 19 Annual Nick's World Famous Hotdogs and much more. The show also featured a kids zone, numerous door prizes donated from our great partners and a 50/50 raffle. The proceeds from the raffle benefited Car & the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.
