INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION 10. Number of countries which participated: There were 31 nations who participated World Garden Area and International Indoor Floriculture Competition. A. throughout the exhibition: There were 27 nations participated in the World Garden Area. ~ 3 ~ B. in indoor/short shows: Only 4 nations participated solo in the International Indoor Floriculture Competition. 11. Total area occupied by exhibits remaining throughout the exhibition: The total area of World Garden Area is 9,900 m2 (300 m2× 33units). A. from the host country: The host nation used 600m2. B. from other countries: Participants from other countries used 9,300 m2. INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS 12. A. Were regulations for the organization of competitions and the award of prizes sent to AIPH members and the General Secretary? (Ch. IV.1) The Exhibition and Competition Guideline of International Indoor Floriculture and Exhibition and Competition Guideline of World Garden Area were submitted to AIPH on Nov. 9th, 2016. In addition, AIPH were asked to provide above guidelines to all AIPH members in assistance of promoting international participation. B. Was an International Honorary Juries were appointed in accordance with the AIPH Guidelines? International Honorary Juries were setup and based on the AIPH ~ 4 ~ guidelines; it included juries from AIPH recommending list as well as national garden and landscape professionals. C. Were technical juries or panels appointed? Juries of technical panels were invited and appointed who based on special expertise of Individual Competition Categories. D. What was the total value of money prizes awarded? (A) The total value of money prizes awarded of World Garden Area is US$63,900. The total sum to subsidy to exhibitors of International Indoor Floriculture is US$3,000 for exhibition and US$3,000 for food and accommodations, included 20% of tax. F. Have these sums been paid to exhibitors entitled to them? ~ 6 ~ The subsidy break into 3 phases: First Phase - 20% after following a successful application review and contract signed by both parties (completed) Second Phase - 50% after overall arrangements are completed (completed) Third Phase - 30% after the exhibition and dismantling arrangements and final reports are completed (in progress) OTHER ASPECTS 13. A. Were the transport costs of exhibitors reimbursed in accordance with AIPH Guidelines? The organizer paid all customs declarations, quarantine, and cargo delivery to the site, unloading of cargoes and removal work after the exhibition if participant used freight forwarders who appointed by the organizer. B. Were special arrangements made for the inspection of plant material imported by exhibitors – near or at the exhibition site? The quarantine examination were took place in the harbor. C. How many international participants included information stands in or associated with their exhibits? All information stands were designed and installed by the organizer. ~ 7 ~ .

Meanwhile, the long-term operation and maintenance of a PV system needs solar radiation information as a reference for system performance evaluation. Obtaining solar radiation information through the installation of irradiation monitoring stations is often very costly, and the cost of sustaining the reliability of the monitoring system, Internet stability and subsequent operation and maintenance can often be alarming. Therefore, the establishment of a solar radiation estimation model can reduce the installation of monitoring stations and decrease the cost of obtaining solar radiation information. In this study, we use an inverse distance weighting algorithm to establish the solar radiation estimation model. The model was built by obtaining information from 20 solar radiation monitoring stations in central and southern Taiwan, and field verification was implemented at Yuan Chang Township town hall and the Tainan Liujia campus.
