2’ Recap Episode 2: Ames Brown Trumps them All

By Lori Bizzoco

Usually when a former Bachelor or Bachelorette leaves the show voluntarily, like two-time ‘Bachelor Pad’ contestant and swimsuit model, did last night, it becomes the episode news headliner the next day. But last night’s storybook ending even knocked out coverage of the attention- seeking love triangle usually reserved for , Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl. It was a scene that leaves us understanding why even bad reality shows are beating out long- standing soap operas. You can’t make this stuff up!

Last night there were two scenes that made single women everywhere believe in love again. First was the closing scene with Ivy-League, world-traveling, portfolio manager, Ames Brown. After he said a heartfelt good-bye to his newfound love and eliminated housemate, Jackie Gordon he turned around to head back towards the house. What happened next made hearts stop everywhere. Instead of continuing his walk toward the contestants, Ames slowly stopped, raised his hand and waved good-bye to them. Giving up the $250,000 prize, he sprinted back towards the limousine with Jackie inside. That fairy-tale exit trumped everything else on the show and gives romance fanatics a reason to believe that Mr. Right is a possibility, especially if you go after the awkwardly smart, rich guy wearing the hot pink pants. In Ames’ own words, “This is the happiest limo ride in Bachelor history.”

The second love scene comes with ex’s, Michael Stagliano and children’s book author, Holly Durst. They just ended their engagement two months before the show taped and haven’t had the chance to talk it out. During last night’s episode, they finally get some one-on-one time and share their thoughts with one another, but their emotional exchange and gripping embrace is almost impossible to watch without your heart feeling heavy or routing for them to get back together. Watching them express their feelings and Michael telling Holly he still loves her with tears in his eyes is enough to make you want to jump through the television and slap them silly for being so blind. Get back together, already!

Mysterious Monday

There was an odd, eerie undertone on last night’s Bachelor Pad 2, with egg fights, haunted hospital tours and a masked man creeping around the kitchen at the end. Yes, mysterious Monday came with love, drama and a fairy tale ending but it makes you wonder for a minute if the show is preparing for Halloween a little too soon.

Egg Toss Challenge:

Let’s begin with Pad 2 challenge. The women were asked a handful of questions relating to the men on the show (Who are you least attracted to? Who do you want to see go home?) and with colored paint-filled eggs in hand the women threw their responses directly at the backs (or shoulder, legs and head) of their intended target.

Thanks to Vienna’s campaigning, Jake displayed a colorful array of red, yellow and blue on his body when the ladies were asked who they wanted to see go home next. Then the reverse scenario happened and the men targeted the women with eggs. However, the pain ran deeper than the physical impact as Erica was selected as the least attractive in the house. That definitely stung in more ways than one, especially when Michael Stigliano forgot that he wasn’t on the field and pitched a fast ball at Erica. The objective of the challenge was to be the person who hit the most targets.

Challenge Winners: Melissa Schreiber and Michael Stigliano ended up winning the challenge.

Immunity and Dates:

Instead of taking one person on a date, Melissa and Michael were granted the chance to each take three members of the opposite sex, with one of them being given the rose at the end. Without surprise, Michael chose Holly (his ex-fiancé), Michelle Money (who is our fan favorite) and Erica (sympathy choice). As if it wasn’t awkward enough having two former lovers on a date together, the group was taken by limousine to Linda Vista, a haunted hospital. Didn’t Michael win (not lose) the challenge? It seemed like a strange reward. I guess it’s all about staying on the show and with that, Michael gave Holly the immunity rose.

When it came to Melissa’s date, she got the luxury of going on a yacht date with her chosen three: Kirk Dewindt, Blake Julien and Kasey Kahl. Kasey was a bit of a shocker pick at first but Melissa did have a strategy in place. Her plan, she explained to Kasey, was to align with him promising to give him the rose and save him if he saved her next time. Unfortunately, that was before two-timing dentist, Blake (who has a thing for Holly), played into Melissa’s weakness by flirting, touching, sweet-talking and going in for a kiss during their one-on-one time. Melissa reneged on her promise to Kasey and gave Blake the rose instead.

Back at ‘The Pad’:

Jake, Vienna and Kasey:

Tension was high as Jake did what he could to stay in the house, offering not once, but twice to speak to Vienna. Whether he’s really sincere or just trying to redeem himself for the cameras is yet to be seen, but Vienna wasn’t having any of it. She continued to escalate the drama and complain about Jake being in the house. That is until put her in her place, showing her the exit doors and letting her know that she wasn’t being forced to be there. Could it possibly be that he’s had enough of her drama, too? He even called out how nicely previously engaged Michael and Holly got along. Oh, Vienna!

Melissa, Blake and Holly:

Talk about another messed up love triangle. Blake likes Holly (or so it seems) and he’s been ignoring Melissa. This is all after Melissa spent a romantic evening with Blake on the yacht and gave him a rose instead of Kasey who she promised. We’re not sure how long Blake will be around, or can keep it up but someone’s about to have a meltdown.

Gia and Graham:

First she got duped by Jake when he didn’t save her last week and gave a rose to Vienna instead. Now, her friend Graham stabs her in the back by disclosing her plan to break-up the power couples. He went to Kasey and told him. Although Gia has been on the ‘Bachelor Pad’ before and she knows how the game is played, she decides to leave the mansion voluntarily. Why risk her dignity of being kicked off by the contestants or her integrity of being deceitful to friends for the mere chance at $250,000? Or, at least that was her reason for leaving. Will she be back next summer? We doubt it. Maybe the next Bachelorette, now that would be fun.

Predictions:

I guess we can cancel Ames out for our early prediction, although he’s a winner in our eyes.

We’re still going strong with Michelle Money, Michael Stagliano and Ella Nolan.

So, there you have it. All in a week’s work!

The Reason ‘Bachelorette’ Delayed Her Nuptials to Roberto Martinez Ali Fedotowsky is happy with her recent decision to delay her wedding to Roberto Martinez. According to UsMagazine.com, the couple was engaged in May of 2010 and one of the main reasons for putting off the nuptials was that her knee surgery in July, which made Fedotowsky unable to hit the gym. She wants to get in some good gym time before the big day … and she’d also like to walk (instead of hobble) down the aisle. Though the couple aren’t in a rush to get married, there could perhaps be a wedding next summer.

What are some good reasons to put off your wedding for the time being?

Cupid’s Advice:

In our society, people often feel pressured to get married quickly, but that isn’t always the best course of action. Here are some good reasons to postpone your wedding:

1. You’re not ready: If you’re really having doubts that go beyond cold feet, it’s okay to wait to get married. Being absolutely sure is the most important thing.

2. The kids: If you have young children that don’t fully understand what is going on and what the changes in your life mean for them, you might want to wait a little longer.

3. Money issues: If you find that you can’t afford your original plans, which is very common in this economy, take a step back and regroup.

Millionaire Matchmaker: Patti Stanger on Being Single, Celebrity Relationships and Love in NYC

By Lori Bizzoco Can’t get enough of Patti Stanger and her millionaires? Here at Cupid’s Pulse, we can’t either. That’s why we were excited to talk to her about the upcoming premiere of The Millionaire Matchmaker.

This season, Patti and her team (Chief Operating Officer, Destin Pfaff, and his fiancée, Vice President of Matchmaking, Rachel Federoff), are back in her hometown of Los Angeles, ready to put their matchmaking skills to work to find love for those millionaires and one millionairess. Newly-single and ready to step out into the dating world again, Patti not only is looking for love for her clients this season, but she is also on the prowl herself, looking for her very own “Mr. Right.”

That’s right! Patti is back and she’s skinnier, nicer and single as ever! Cupid’s Pulse participated in a recent media conference call where Patti offered some words of wisdom and insight on what we can expect to see this season:

This season, you’re going to be featured on dates. Can you tell us about your experience?

Yes. In the 13th episode, I actually date and do the mixer process. It was the scariest time of my life. When I’m dating, I am a totally different Patti. I’m soft, subdued, and submissive — completely different than business Patti. My ex used to ask, “Can we switch the business mode off and go back to sweet Patti?” My show-runner turned to me one day and said, “No one is going to believe you. They are going to think you are acting.” I’m very quiet when I date – that’s just how I am.

Is there something now you realize about dating on-camera that you didn’t before?

Yes. I’ve realized that I usually tend to date down. I’ve never dated a rich guy. This guy I met on the show is probably one of the richest guys that I’ve dated, and he isn’t even that rich. I think I would like to date a millionaire, but I think it would be nice if I did it off-camera. I’d like to date someone who makes equal or more money than me and romances me that way, but I haven’t met anyone like that. I would still have to be sexually attracted to them. One question on my application is: “Would you rather have looks or money?” I’m a looks-person, whereas a money-person is someone who doesn’t care about that. The reason that I say that is, getting looks and money together is really hard to find. It is never easy, especially at my age.

What are your thoughts about having a baby?

I would not have a baby without a man. It’s not that I couldn’t, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable. I am adopted, and my mom was married three times. I had a lot of issues with that. I’ve wanted a kid forever, and I’ve wanted to adopt, but I want to have a partner when I do it.

How did guest stars Jenny McCarthy, Tori Spelling, and Perez Hilton impact your show this season?

Jenny is one of my closest friends. Actually, she was one of my first famous friends. She comes on the show to help a guy who is kind of a nerd in Silicon Valley find his sex appeal and figure out what to say on a date.

Tori is on the second episode. We have a multi-millionaire who believes that when you’re pregnant, you have to stop working and never work again. He doesn’t think that you can do both at the same time. So I wanted to show him that Tori didn’t live off her family’s money. She built her own career, and she didn’t marry rich. Tori proves that you can work and also have babies — and chickens too (she has an animal farm in her house)!

I really wanted Perez to date, but he didn’t want to do it on camera, so we met at his house. He is adorable and lost all that weight, so he looks hot and happening. He actually interviewed me for his online show and asked a lot of personal questions. He really has an ear for music and has been my source of music inspiration. It is going to be really fun – he is a really good interviewer, and a different person these days. Since he lost the weight, he is nicer. I think that’s what happened to both of us – we both lost weight, and now we are nicer. At least, that’s what people tell me. You tell me when you watch – do I still have the bitch in me?

Last season, we interviewed Millionairess Beth Shak. She ended up surprising us all by bringing her “gay husband” on the date with her. What shockers can we expect to see this season?

We only have one millionairess this season. I wanted more, but Bravo didn’t want it. They had a nightmare with the women last season. But, we do have one woman who is British and owns a stripping facility. She probably makes Shawna look sane. When you see this girl, you’ll have to tell me what you think. I give her the most amazing guy, and she doesn’t see it.

Are there any celebrities out there who you’d like to help find love?

Well, I probably would put George Clooney in boot camp with Tiger Woods, Jesse James, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although, I think George is a serial monogamous. He dates someone for two years, and then gives his woman a parting gift. He is like Simon Cowell — you get cash and a car. He is not as bad as Tiger, Jesse, and Arnold though. They are in a world of their own.

Other than that, I would probably want to help Sandra Bullock, because I feel so bad for her. I would set her up with someone outside of Hollywood. In fact, there are a lot of girls in Hollywood that need to look for love off of the red carpet. J. Lo is going to be one of them. It’s like I’ve said: no Hollywood husband is safe. She needs an entrepreneur, who lets her shine on the carpet; who has way more money that she does, like billionaire status; who gives her the world, but lets her walk the carpet alone. Because her life with Marc Anthony was like they were competing in the boardroom and in the bedroom. It’s never going to work. I knew it wouldn’t work. I mean, she was literally unengaged to Ben Affleck for five minutes, and then went straight to Marc Anthony and married him a week later. It was ridiculous.

What are your thoughts on Jennifer Aniston?

We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. But, the guy she is with now is pretty good for her. He produces and writes major movies, and he acts. He is a triple-play for her, which is a good fit for her right now. I’m hoping that they work out. And I hope his Ex finds someone, but if not, she can give me a call.

What advice would you give to singles in New York City based on your experience last season?

The problem is that there are five women to one guy and the men in NYC know that they have the power, whereas in LA, it is much closer to 50/50. For women, it is a terrible thing to be in a city where you feel like you don’t have power. Eventually, they get bitter. So one of the rules I would say to single girls in NYC is keep your appearances up — look good, hit the gym, put some lipstick on — and then be nice to the men. They might notice you more if you are sweet and not bitter towards them.

If you could share five tough dating rules that everyone should live by, what would they be?

1) TMI — too much information. 2) Two-drink maximum. Women tend to share too much information when they drink too much, and then the guy gets scared…and they are no longer dating. 3) Let the man lead, and if you are the man, lead! 4) No sex before monogamy is my fourth rule. Obviously, this one is a major rule. If you sleep with him too soon, you may feel like you are in love, even if he is a loser. 5) My last rule would probably be that if you’re dating, but nothing is working for you, don’t fret. The right man or woman is probably just around the corner. It’s usually those down times that you have to give in to. Once you give in to it, the phone will start ringing. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Or, if you’re still in doubt, refer to what the matchmaker often says, “It’s all in the kiss!”

‘Bachelorette’ Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum Celebrate Celebrity Engagement in NYC A congratulations is in order for Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and her fiance J.P. Rosenbaum, as they celebrated their celebrity engagement over the past weekend. UsMagazine.com reports the couple enjoyed a lovely dinner at hotspot Beauty and Essex. Saturday included breakfast at Coffee Shop in Union Square and some time with friends, including Chrystie Hebert-Corns, Hebert’s sister who initially rejected Rosenbaum. Now, the two are on “good terms,” according to one source. That night, Rosenbaum threw a party for his friends to meet his celebrity love. Treats at the party included massive cupcakes from Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro. Throughout the weekend, the pair were said to be “good sports” and just enjoyed being an open celebrity couple. “They’re so happy to be able to just be a couple and show everyone how in love they are with one another,” an insider said.

The Bachelorette couple celebrated their celebrity engagement in style. What are some creative ideas for engagement parties?

Cupid’s Advice:

The best engagement parties don’t only have to be for celebrity engagements! Anyone can throw a fun and unforgettable night. Here are some of Cupid’s tips when attending or planning a party to celebrate love:

1. Give a special gift: The best gifts don’t have to be expensive. Try to think of something useful or unique to the relationship. Anything personalized or monogramed is great too!

2. Be inspired by their relationship: It’s always fun when the party can somehow tie into the couple’s relationship and love. For example, plan dinner at the restaurant of their first date or head to a bowling alley that they frequent. The more original, the better!

3. Keep it simple: An engagement party doesn’t have to be over the top. Sometimes, just inviting the right people and kicking back with them is all you need to have a great time.

By Jennifer Harrington

On Monday night, we were treated to a three-hour season premiere of Bachelor Pad 2. As promised, we were reunited with some of the most controversial characters in franchise history, including Jake, Vienna, Rated R and Michelle Money. In case you missed the episode, read our recap to get caught up, and check out our inside scoop from the winners of the last season of Bachelor Pad, David Good and Natalie Getz. These two definitely know the game, so we were interested on their take on the first night of action in “the pad”! Did it surprise you to see Jake confront Kasey so honestly and directly on the first night? And along those same lines, were you shocked to hear that Jake had so many unresolved feelings regarding Vienna?

David: That was all BS. Jake doesn’t have feelings for her. f he really wanted to say those things, there are plenty of ways to get in touch with her besides doing it on national television. He only did that for more publicity. he same reason he said God sent him back to save Jillian from Wes. It’s so insincere it makes me sick watching it. The guy should have a shiny red nose on at all times because he is a clown. I do have to give him credit though because he knows how gullible America is and he’s actually really good at what he does.

Natalie: I was completely shocked when Jake told Gia and Jackie that he still loves Vienna. What a joke! I don’t buy it for one second. The only reason he pulled Kasey aside was so that he didn’t get his ass kicked! Also, Jake wants to look like the good guy at any cost. Of course, he is playing the fans and trying to get back in their good graces by “being the bigger person.” If we only knew what was going on in that guy’s head … I can bet all my money his actions are all a front. He won’t last long in this house at all.

Was it a brilliant or stupid move for Jake to give Vienna a rose to keep her safe?

David: As far as the game goes it was really stupid. As far as a publicity stunt, genius! I don’t care for the guy, but you have to give credit where credit is due. He works this show to his advantage for publicity better than anyone I have ever seen. It’s really something to watch.

Natalie: Jake’s only concern is getting back in the good graces of Bachelor fans. He has had so many opportunities to apologize to Vienna. He is always in L.A.! I would like to see a real side of Jake, but that isn’t going to happen. He is so concerned with his image that he doesn’t care about the game. I guarantee he went on just to clean up the mess he caused last year when their breakup aired. Saying he still loves Vienna? Really, Jake? As far as Vienna is concerned, she is playing the game very well. She isn’t falling for his BS and she still wants him out of the house. She isn’t being mean; she just knows Jake more than any of us and doesn’t trust him at all.

The chemistry between Ames and Jackie was apparent from the first night — but they chose not to partner up for the first challenge (“Hook Up”). Your thoughts about this strategy?

David: That was funny. The first morning of the show, they are by the pool making out? I like them for each other though. I think they are both awesome. I thought it was a good move not partnering up this early on though. If you think about it, now you not only have each other’s backs, but you brought two more people into the equation that have your back as well.

Natalie: Ames and Jackie were brilliant for not partnering up for two reasons. 1.) They are trying to stay under the radar. They don’t want anyone thinking that they are a power couple right off the bat. 2.) If they separate themselves for competitions, that means they double their chances of winning. If Ames wins and Jackie doesn’t, he can give her the rose and vice versa. If they were a team, they only have 1 shot at keeping each other safe. Dave and I worked this strategy in our “Kissing” challenge last season.

Last season and this season, it seems that Gia is always feeling vulnerable going into the rose ceremonies. Why do you think she is always on the verge of being eliminated, and do you think there is a chance she will advance far this season?

David: Gia’s problem is she lies to herself and everyone around her. She plays the sweet card but is very vindictive. She did that on our season, too. She asks, “why can’t everyone be honest and just get along.” Then, she lies to everyone and makes up stories that aren’t even true. Wherever she is, drama is not far away, hence the reason she is back for this season. It’s kind of funny to watch because I really don’t know if she knows she is doing it and actually believes she is not. Jesse Kovacs and I used to laugh so hard listening to her on Bachelor Pad 1. It’s a terrible strategy and is the reason she is always on the verge of elimination. I like Gia as a person, but some of her bad qualities come out in these situations.

Natalie: I don’t think Gia will go very far this season, because she has a huge red flag on her back for already being a competitor last season. Also, Gia always forms a group with the outsiders, and this just doesn’t work. The insider group is always the strongest group. They have strong bonds and connections and wouldn’t play both sides like an outsider would, for example: Ali and Rated R. Gia should have partnered up with Graham. They were friends before the show and he would be a good partner. Instead she chose Jake who no one really cares for. I don’t understand what she was thinking! I wanted her to go far. I love Gia!

Thoughts on this week’s eliminated contestants — Rated R and Ali. Why do you think the group chose to get rid of them so quickly? And, with them gone, who do you think is most vulnerable next week?

David: Rated R and Ali got sent home because they were trying to play both sides of the fence and got caught. As in real life, if you do this you will eventually get caught and when you do, not only one side comes down on you but both will and boom – you’re sent packing! It’s a terrible strategy because people will talk to each other and find out. I think Jackie and Ames have to be careful here. I have not seen them take a side yet and are freelancing around, which can make them an easy target. Natalie: On my season, Juan left the first night because we caught him making alliances with everyone. Literally everyone! He was trying to play both sides like Rated R. When you play both sides, you are absolutely going to get caught! Rated R should have done his homework. BTW most humiliating limo exit of all time! Made some great TV! Ali seems to be a little ditzy to me. How could she not realize she was on the chopping block when she too was playing both sides? She didn’t even try very hard to clean up her mess once she found out she was up for elimination. She isn’t cut out for this game at all.

Be sure to tune in to ABC next Monday night for the next installment of Bachelor Pad 2. While you’re watching, send us your questions (via Facebook or Twitter) to ask David and Natalie — it’s a great way to get an experts take on the romance, drama and strategy in the most popular house in America this summer!

Ali Fedotowsky Postpones Wedding Due to Femur Injury One of the few successful couples from ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise have canceled their wedding — but fortunately, not for good. Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and the man she picked, Roberto Martinez, had to postpone saying “I do” because Fedotowsky is still recovering from a femur injury. “We had a date set, and that date has now passed,” the reality star, 26, told People. “The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears. ” Fedotowsky underwent surgery in July and said that they decided to defer walking down the aisle until she could actually, well, walk. “I don’t want to limp down the aisle,” she said.

What are some ways to decide when to have your wedding?

Cupid’s Advice:

It seems like setting a date for your wedding should be the easy part, but sometimes unexpected factors get in the way. Cupid has some tips on how to decide when to say “I do”:

1. Seasons: Love the heat? Or are you a winter weather fan? Lots of couples want their wedding to be in a certain season, so deciding on having a spring wedding, for example, should help you narrow down the date. 2. Family: If you really want your grandmother to be at your wedding, but she can only travel in the summer, you may want to plan your wedding around her (or other family or friends’) availability.

3. Planning: When you’re planning a huge wedding, you may need up to a year to plan everything. Think about how much time you need to prepare and set the date accordingly.

‘Bachelor Pad 2’ Recap Episode 1: Jake Pavelka Gives Vienna Girardi a Rose By Lori Bizzoco

Broken engagements, boyfriend stealing and love triangles galore. Welcome to this summer’s most anticipated show, Bachelor Pad 2. ABC pulled out all the stops when collecting the current list of castoffs from seasons past. We watched like animals in heat tonight, glued to the television witnessing one of the most talked about and controversial casts this summer. Is it a coincidence that all the references noted above point back to one person: Vienna Girardi? Hmmm, it leaves us wondering if the show would even be worth the three hours it premiered if it wasn’t for her and Jake Pavelka’s drama-induced past.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Vienna and Jake, it’s safe to say that they’ll probably go down in The Bachelor history as the most remembered (not in a good way) contestants. She won the love and proposal of Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, Season 14 and broke his heart when she sold their break-up story for $90,000, according to reports. Then, they trashed one another on Primetime television when the relationship ended, and it was so brutal that Vienna stormed out of the interview. They haven’t talked since that fight took place a year ago. Now, they’re both back in the house, under the same roof, competing for the $250,000 grand prize. Last night we witnessed the first challenge of the season which included each of the 18 contestants partnering up with someone in the house. The men were ousted into the air by harness with the women hanging on to them wherever and however they could. The prize for the couple who lasted longest was full immunity and a rose. With those stakes on the line, it’s no surprise that the challenge came down to Jake and Vienna being the remaining two. Partnering up with Vienna was her new beau and “guard and protect” tattoo-man from Ali Fedotowsky’s season, Kasey Kahl. While Jake partnered with understated Jackie Gordon from ’s season.

It came down to the final four and after thirty minutes, Kasey couldn’t hold on to Vienna any longer. She begged him to hold on so that Jake wouldn’t get immunity, but he couldn’t. Jake and Jackie not only win a rose, but they also have a one-on- one date and get an additional rose to save one other person in the house. Guess who gets the rose and a free ride? Surprise, surprise! Jake convinces Jackie (although it looks like her idea) that he must give the rose to Vienna as a truce; to put closure on his wound that obviously hasn’t healed. Strategic or stupid? It’s most likely stupid, as Vienna laughs about it behind-the-scenes.

One person who clearly states the stupidity of Jake’s rose decision is Vienna’s ex-best friend, and the only two-time Bachelor Pad contestant, Gia Allemand. Gia can’t stand Vienna after finding out that she hooked up with her ex-boyfriend, Wes Hayden. Gia (also on Jake’s season) is good friends with Jake and feels betrayed by his decision to give the rose to Vienna instead of protecting her. Worried that she may now be eliminated, she confronts Kasey in a one-on-one scheme and talks him into an alliance with her. As she’s doing that, Blake is trying to get Jackie to vote off Kasey.

All of this makes for good television, but we can’t forget the other contestants in the house who also have interesting stories: First, there’s Michael Stagliano and ex-fiance, Holly Durst. We didn’t see too much of their relationship drama tonight, which leads us to believe that producers are saving the best for last. We can’t wait to watch how that plays out. We would love to see them back together, but Holly has admitted to being a commitment-phobe and from the first evening in the house she’s had her eyes on last season’s resident dentist, Blake Julian. It’s a shame for Holly, because the promos clearly highlight that Blake is also caught hooking up in the house with former Brad Womack contestant, Melissa Schreibner. There will be tears.

It also looks like last season’s boxing champ (joke) and nice boy, Ames Brown, has already formed an alliance (and possibly a relationship) with lonely heart, spider-hater (she called Michelle Money a spider), Jackie Gordon. Both Jackie and Ames are New Yorkers, and you can hear them mumbling on last night’s episode about spending time together when they get back to the city. “We should go to Central Park,” Jackie says to Ames. Being the Ivy League-educated gent that Ames is, he’s probably wondering why she couldn’t have thought of anything more unique and original to do.

Then, there’s one of our fan favorites, Utah hairstylist and accredited crazy lady, Michelle Money. For the record, we don’t think Michelle is crazy. We think she’s a witty, smartass, and we love it (yes, we’re a bit biased). We also hear that southern philanthropist, Graham Belle hooks up with Money (that’s Michelle Money, not the greenback kind, if you know what we mean).

Other contestants that haven’t raised the drama meter too high yet are Erica Rose from ’s season who creates her own fanfare by wearing a tiara and claiming she’s a princess. Kirk DeWindt from Ali Fedotowsky’s season and the too-truthful comedian, William, from Ashley Hebert’s season are both under the radar right now, as well. Then there’s Ella Nolan, the Tennessee mom who was dumped by Jake Pavelka. Talk about a back story- her own mother was murdered by her stepfather right in front of her when she was three-years old. She’s doing this all for her son so that she can give him the life she never had when she was young. I feel like I am watching Lifetime Television.

Lastly, we have Justin “Rated R” Rego (should be ‘ego’). He’s the professional wrestler who appeared on Ali Fedotowsky’s season and bragged to the men about having a girlfriend back home. Interestingly, he’s like a G-rated version of what Bentley did to Ashley Hebert this past season. And last, but not least, we have apparel buyer, Alli Travis from Brad Womack’s season.

In a nutshell, the rest of the night was based on forming alliances, with both Gia and Kasey coming to a close call on being eliminated. They’d probably be gone if Justin didn’t betray his alliance by telling Alli that Graham is going to “work on her,” meaning he is going to get her to come to their side. Alli confronted Graham, which made Justin look two- faced. No time to waste. He’s Gone.

Alli also seems to be playing two sides and not making a decision where her alliance is resting. The other contestants are in it to win it. Alli’s eliminated, too.

There you have it. Two down and 16 people to go. This should be an interesting summer.

Our early predictions: Michelle Money, Michael Stagliano, with close calls to Ella Nolan and Ames Brown.

Stay tune for next week’s recap. In the meantime, if you have questions about the Bachelor Pad 2, send them in. We will have former winners, Natalie Getz and David Good with us all season to answer them. ‘Bachelor Pad 2’: David Good and Natalie Getz Share their Views and Predictions for the New Season

By Jennifer Harrington and Lori Bizzoco

Last summer, Bachelor/Bachelorette alums Natalie Getz and David Good teamed up, strategized and became the co-winners of $250,000 on the first season of ABC’s spinoff series, Bachelor Pad. Now, with the drama meter boiling over from this summer’s most intense cast of characters, ABC just might have a winner on its hands with Bachelor Pad 2. I mean, who isn’t anxiously waiting for Vienna and Jake to go at it again or to see how Michelle Money is planning to play the game?

No matter what your motivation is for watching Bachelor Pad 2, if you want some insight and perspective on the cast, you’ve definitely come to the right place. We spoke to the former Bachelor Pad winners, Natalie Getz and David Good, to find out their thoughts on the new season and what it takes to win.

We love their candidness and you will too. In fact, you’ll be hearing a lot more from them this season as they join us every Monday evening to answer your burningBachelor Pad 2 questions. So, if you’re curious about the season, or maybe what goes on behind-the-scenes, send us your questions or Tweet them to @cupidspulse. We will choose a few to feature the very next day on our site.

Now, here’s Natalie and David’s take on what’s in store:

Who are you most excited to see in the mansion this season?

Natalie: When David and I were on the show, we had strong, unintentional friendships with several of the cast mates. Bachelor Pad wasn’t even in existence when we all became friends with each other; our friendships were pure and innocent. Now that the show is in a second season, all of these “friendships” were made out of pure strategy for Bachelor Pad 2. I was shocked when I found out Jake agreed to do the show. I’m most excited to see the drama unfold between the Kasey/Vienna/Jake triangle. Days Of Our Lives couldn’t come up with a storyline this dramatic and intense. This season is going to be hilariously dramatic.

David: I like all of the couples and former couples. There are a few in there with screws loose, which is going to make for great TV. I can’t wait to see how Michelle Money does. She is so sweet in real life and I want to see it come through on this show.

Any early predictions for couples hooking up or – in the case of Vienna and Kasey- breaking up?

Natalie: I don’t think Vienna and Kasey will break up. They are so in love it’s exhausting. They’ll stick by each other’s sides no matter what. I’m sure they will be fighting due to the nature of the game, but no break up. I bet there will be a ton of hook-ups based on knowing the cast’s history. We already read that Ames and Jackie are a couple. I can also see Graham Bunn and Michelle Money hitting it off.

David: Oh yeah! I would say a lot of hooking up, and with all the pressure it’s sure to put a strain on Vienna and Kasey’s relationship.

Everyone’s wondering what it will be like having Jake and Vienna in the same house. Do you think there’s any chance that they’ll be able to co-exist?

Natalie:It will be very interesting to watch this play out. My guess is that Jake will take the fake road, I mean high road, and instantly apologize to Kasey and Vienna. I’m sure he will play the victim and I can guarantee you that Vienna will not fall for it. Be prepared to see Jake pull out all of the stops to regain the love of the fans and cast.

David: I really don’t see that going well. Neither of them will be able to hold back their emotions and they’ll probably end up crying and yelling at each other.

Some people are saying Ames may have a good chance at advancing far because he is so extremely polite. In your experience, does being polite get you anywhere in this game?

Natalie: Being polite gets you further than most people think. People would feel bad voting off someone who is not on one side or the other. In the beginning of the game, staying neutral is the safest place to be. The third episode is a good time to choose a side. He is in the perfect position, taking the stealth approach and choosing a side towards the middle. That’s what Peyton did, and it got her far without knowing anyone prior to moving into the Pad.

David: Being polite will get you only so far. You still have to play the game and step on some toes every now and then.

We know Michelle Money was a member of theBachelorette Beatdown with the both of you, how do you think she’ll do on Bachelor Pad 2? She was very sneaky and strategic onThe Bachelor, will she change up her game or play the same way?

Natalie: In real life, Michelle is very kind-hearted and a great friend. She is a go-getter and will definitely play this game as hard as she can. She won’t be sneaky, but she will be very strategic by sticking to her word and alliances. I predict her going very far.

David:I think she’ll do great! She is smart, witty and can play the game very well. She can be a top contender.

What advice would you give those entering the Mansion? Any tips for finding love and money?

Natalie: My advice is to do exactly what I did during my time in the house. I love meeting new people, so I befriended all of the new comers right away. I found “temporary” love with Jesse Beck and nearly forgot about the game aspect, because I was having so much fun and being myself. I quickly realized by keeping this approach, I would keep myself safe to the end. No one ever had a reason to kick me out. Don’t make enemies, don’t lie, don’t back stab or talk behind anyone’s back, because it will all come out. This game is not about winning competitions and being strategic, it’s about forming friendships. The winner is the one who has the most sincere friendships in the house.

David: Don’t look for love here. It’s a shady place, but do play the game with honesty and integrity – even if others aren’t. Because if people know they can trust you, you will get far!

Do you think the rules will be the same this season or do you think the producers will change it up since everyone knows how the game works after watching Season 1?

Natalie: I think we’ll see better competitions and maybe a couple tiny changes to dates and rose ceremonies, but I don’t think they’ll make drastic changes. But, I hope they change the ending. I want one person to walk away with the money. It would make for such better TV to watch the final couple battle it out. They can’t repeat the “share or keep” game that David and I played in the end, because it wouldn’t be a surprise.

David: I would have to say they are going to change some things up. They are really smart when it comes to that stuff.

What’s your early prediction for a winner this season?

Natalie: Michael Stagliano. He is something else! His heart is made of gold. He is not only genuine, lovable, endearing and cute; he is also hands down one of the funniest people I know. No one will ever want to kick him out. When I saw his name on the cast list I thought to myself, “there is no competition.” They may as well hand Stagliano the money! Now it will be interesting to see who rides his coattails to the finish line.

David: Michelle Money or my boy Mike Stagliano.

Be sure to tune into the premiere of Bachelor Pad 2 tonight on ABC, and each week, we’ll be checking in with David and Natalie to get their thoughts on the episode. As you’re watching, send us your questions for them. You never know…it could be answered on our site the following day. ‘’ Reality TV Star Ashley Hebert Says Her Sister’s Reaction to J.P. Was Shocking

Ashley Hebert looked forward to introducing Ben Flajnik and J.P. Rosenbaum, the final two contenders on The Bachelorette season 7, to her family. Her whole family loved Flajnik, but Rosenbaum didn’t have the same luck. In fact, her sister was especially disapproving of her relationship and love with the contestant. The Bachelorette star told People, “What bothered me the most was not that she didn’t approve but how aggressive and unsupportive she was. All I needed at this point was someone to be supportive of whatever I was feeling…and she wasn’t.” Although she was crushed by her sister’s reaction, Hebert decided to take her opinion with a grain of salt: “I used her uncertainty to make me ask the questions I was scared to ask but by no means did it change the way I felt about him.” Hebert followed her heart and recently celebrated her celebrity engagement with Rosenbaum.

Hebert’s sister wasn’t thrilled about Bachelorette contestant Rosenbaum. What do you do if your family doesn’t support your relationship and love?

Cupid’s Advice:

You’re torn inside. You love your partner, but your family doesn’t think he or she is right for you. If you’re really close to your family and value their opinion, it may be very difficult to be in this situation. Cupid has some love advice on what you can do to ease the tension:

1. Get to the heart of the issue: Talk to your family members. Find out exactly what bothers them about your boyfriend or girlfriend. Do they think your partner’s not good enough for you? Do they think they are having a negative influence on you? Maybe they’re simply afraid of losing you. It’s important to communicate!

2. Be firm: In order to confront your family’s prejudices, you need to be firm. Tell them that you hope that they can be happy for you. Instead of asking them if they approve of your relationship and love, assert that you would be grateful to receive their support for your decision.

3. Allow for bonding: You’ve tried convincing your folks that your significant other is a great person, and it turns out that words alone won’t do the trick. Your next best bet is to have them spend time with your beau so that they can get to know each other better. Try to find some common ground between them.

Happy watching! ‘The Bachelorette’ Contestant Constantine Says He Did Not Want to Marry Ashley Hebert

One of Ashley Hebert’s final three suitors walked away during last week’s episode of The Bachelorette in Fiji. Although it was clear that there was no spark between Constantine Tzortzis and Hebert, it was still shocking to find out that he wanted to call it quits. The 30-year-old restaurant owner openly admitted to People in an exclusive Men Tell All taping that he wasn’t ready to get married to Herbert. He said, “You either have a feeling or you don’t… My feelings were not strong enough at that point to justify sticking around and possibly going through with that next step of getting engaged.” Tzortzis’ family fully supported his decision. How do you know when your relationship is headed toward marriage?

Cupid’s Advice:

You and your partner both hold very strong feelings of love for one another, but how do you know he or she is the one? Cupid has some ideas:

1. Clarity about the future: A good indicator that your relationship is moving toward that next serious step is that you talk about your plans for the future together. So, for example, you might discuss the intention to move to a new city and then have children together. You should both be able to paint a vivid picture of the future and see yourselves together in it.

2. Part of the family: Perhaps you’ve heard the saying, ‘When you marry someone, you marry into his or her family.’ Before you move onto marriage, you should feel a sense of belonging to your partner’s family and vice versa.

3. In the friend circle: Not only is it important to be well integrated into each others’ families, but it’s also essential to share your buddies. It’s okay if you don’t get along with a few of your partner’s friends, but it’s important that the majority of them consider you a part of the pack. This will prevent you from having to make compromises about friendships during marriage.

In the season 7 finale of the reality TV show The Bachelorette, we saw Ashley Hebert choose between the remaining two bachelors, Ben Flajnik and J.P. Rosenbaum, and watched as she celebrated her celebrity engagement with Rosenbaum. From the looks of things on the After the Final Rose special, our bachelorette is indeed blissfully in love and will be moving to New York City in the coming months to join her man! Following the episode, we checked in with our Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak to get his thoughts on the last chapter of this reality TV love story. Former Bachelorette Winner Shares Thoughts On Season 7 Finale

Meeting Ashley’s family didn’t go so well for J.P. Were you surprised by Ashley’s sister’s reaction to J.P.?

I am still wondering how much of Ashley’s sister’s reaction was actually production talking.

We heard over and over again that family approval was very important to Ashley. Do you suspect Ashley and her sister were able to talk about her relationship and love before she decided to give the final rose to J.P.?

I think production had her sister say those things but behind closed doors — her sister told her, “Hey, it’s not me; it’s for TV.” Then, Ashley was just so pumped that her sister didn’t feel that way anymore!

Should Ashley have let Ben know her decision before he got down on one knee?

All of those calls are made by production for good television; Ashley didn’t want to do that.

What did you think about Ben’s reaction when he found out he wasn’t The One? Do you agree with his assessment that “good things don’t end unless they end badly”?

I have mad respect for Ben after last night and agree with his actions and words 100 percent.

Ben and Ashley had a very strong friendship. Given their foundation as friends, did you expect his strong reaction to being dumped? Yes, he got down on one knee in front of 15 million people before realizing production got the best of him!

Any shock from you when you found out that J.P. was her true celebrity love? We did see a lot of J.P. throughout the season, and usually a guy who gets a lot of camera time doesn’t always end up with the final rose.

This is the first time the celebrity love story was in the edit from the beginning. But as long as they are happy, who are we to judge them!

As a viewer, what do you think makes J.P. and Ashley’s relationship and love work?

Love is going to be the key factor. When the crap hits the fans, in the end, all you will have is love!

So, what do you think the future holds for J.P. and Ashley? Do you think there will be a celebrity wedding and many more chapters to their love story?

If they can stay out of Los Angeles and New York City, I think they will be just fine.

By Jennifer Harrington

Last Monday on The Bachelorette season 7, the final chapter of Ashley Hebert’s celebrity love story was written: She chose her Prince Charming and gave out her final rose. After a very rocky road to find a relationship and love, our bachelorette ended her journey by accepting a marriage proposal. In case you missed the ending to this very dramatic season of the show, here’s a recap of what happened!

The Bacherlorette’s Family Reaction

Ashley’s family flew to Fiji to meet her remaining two guys: J.P. Rosenbaum and Ben Flajnik. It was revealed that the bubbly brunette is very influenced by her family and looks for their approval on major life decisions. Rosenbaum was up first to meet the Hebert family, including her mother, stepfather, brother, and sister Chrystie. Chrystie immediately voiced concerns about the celebrity romance. Repeatedly, she said he was not the one for her sister and even went so far to ask Rosenbaum — who is a few years older — why he hadn’t found love in his life yet. The lovebirds talked about Chrystie’s tough analysis, and Rosenbaum walked away from the day feeling flustered.

Flajnik was next to meet the family. The winemaker quickly received Chrystie’s seal of approval as she noticed a “natural connection” between the duo. During the day Flajnik spends with the Heberts, we learned more about the friendship that was the foundation of their relationship and love, and there was a “shared passion” that united the couple. After impressing her family, the California-native concluded the day with a helicopter ride with the bachelorette, time together in the mud pit, and some serious, quality conversation. During this chat, he confessed that he was in love with Hebert!

Rosenbaum had one last chance to spend time with his celebrity love. The couple used this time to tackle the “tough questions” from Chrystie. The conversation gave the bachelorette the confidence she needed, and she remarked that he had “proven himself” by answering her tough questions. The New York native makes his final plea for her heart with a heartfelt note and collection of photos and closed the evening by saying “she may love both of us, but she can only be in love with one of us. It’s love or nothing!”

Picking The Rings For A Celebrity Engagement

Before the final decision, both men had the opportunity to meet with jeweler Neil Lane to choose a celebrity engagement ring for Hebert. Both men selected stunning diamond rings before it was time for the bachelorette to make her final decision. Flajnik arrived to the scene of the final beachside rose ceremony first. Before Hebert had the chance to speak, Ben professed his love to her and got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. Our bachelorette broke the tough news to him that she would not be giving him the final rose. Given the confidence he felt as he arrived at the beach, it’s no surprise this decision was unexpected for him. He begged her not to “sugarcoat” her words to him, and left with a closing remark: “Good things don’t end unless they end badly.”

Fresh off her celebrity break-up from Flajnik, the bachelorette regained her composure as Rosenbaum arrived on the beach. She professed her love to him. He shared it was time for them to take a “leap of faith” together and that she was The One for him. He proposed, and she gladly accepted. It was a fairy tale proposal for Hebert’s storybook celebrity romance!

What did you think about the final decision — and what do you think the future holds for these lovebirds? Be sure to check back later today to read Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak’s thoughts on the series finale — and don’t forget about the premiere of Bachelor Pad 2 next Monday evening! Former ‘Bachelorette’ Winner Jesse Csincsak Talks About Ashley Hebert’s Fiji Dates and Her Final Two Men

Last night on The Bachelorette, Ryan Park paid Ashley Hebert a visit and asked for a second chance, while Constantine Tzortzis said goodbye after revealing that his relationship and love was not developing fast enough for her. Ben Flajnik and J.P. Rosenbaum are the remaining two men, andThe Bachelorette now understands that this is a two way street. Here’s what Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak had to say about the episode: Jess Csincsak Tells All About The Bachelorette

Were you surprised to see Ryan return? Should Chris Harrison have given Ashley a head’s up that she was going to have a “surprise visitor”?

This was a simple case of the producers saying jump and Ryan asking how high! I think the producers are teasing him with being the next Bachelor, and he wants it so bad that he can taste it. That’s why he is doing all of this dramatic nonsense. He reminds me of a few characters from past seasons who wanted to be the next Bachelor so bad — Jake Pavelka, Ed S. and Reid R. from season 5 and Jeremy A. from season 4.

What do you think about Ben’s admission that he was “unavailable” at the beginning of the journey? Is this type of admission a red flag to you?

I think J.P. and Ben’s edits are so chopped up that we will never really know what is what. I think production was trying to even the playing field with this episode by editing, so both of the final two guys look like they are at the same point with Ashley.

These contestants are always taken to places where they jump off cliffs, swim with sharks, etc. What if a contestant is afraid of these feats or they simply don’t know how to swim? How do they get around doing these activities?

Production has you fill out a 1200 question test before you go on the show. Therefore, the participants know all of this beforehand, and the producers plan which dates to give each person.

We heard over and over again that Ashley and Constantine need more time. Given all they wanted was more time, do you think Constantine should have taken advantage of the fantasy suite to get to know her a little bit better and develop their relationship and love?

Constantine was real, and as far as I am concerned, he is the man! There was no fantasy suite needed.

Do you think it’s a bit unreasonable for Ashley to expect all of the guys to fall in love with her and be ready to propose marriage after just a few weeks of knowing each other?

I think Ashley totally understands it’s a two way street. Even at this point, no one expects anything.

Typically, by the overnight dates, we see several confessions of love for the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Do you think it’s weird or simply realistic that both J.P. and Ben are holding back on “I love you” for now?

I think it’s totally real, and all three of them are guarded. That’s why we haven’t heard them say “I love you.”

What Is Important For a Real Relationship and Love?

Ashley confides that she is more “compatible” with Ben and that J.P. “compliments” her. In relationships and love, what do you think is more important — being compatible or complimenting your significant other?

I think both are important, but at the end of the day, love alone will be what gets people through the tough times in a Hollywood relationship.

Ashley makes a big deal about the guys accepting her roses this week, and it being a two-way street. When you were on the show, did you give a lot of thought to the acceptance of the rose each week?

The show has changed a lot since I was on it. Back then, there wasn’t as much emphasis on accepting a rose.

So now we know who the final two men are at the last rose ceremony. What’s your prediction?

Well, since all of the idiots spoiled the show for everyone, we all know who Ashley will choose.

It looks like Bentley will be back for The Men Tell All. Do you think we’ll learn anything new about him and his mind games next week, or do you suspect having him join the reunion is all about the ratings?

Somehow, I don’t believe Bentley comes back to the actual The Men Tell All. I think they just interviewed him separately because the real guys would rip him apart!

‘The Bachelorette’ Season 7, Episode 9: Final Two Men Remaining

By Jennifer Harrington

Last night’s episode on The Bachelorette quickly reminded me that this season was almost over. The thought alone got my adrenaline racing, not because I wanted to see whoAshley Hebert would choose but because it brought me one week closer to the upcoming drama that is almost guaranteed on the Bachelor/Bachelorette spin-off, Bachelor Pad. Until then, here’s the scoop on Hebert!

The Bachelorette journeyed back to Asia for overnight dates with the remaining three bachelors: Ben Flajnik, Constantine Tzortzis, and J.P. Rosenbaum. Last week’s hometown dates seemed to be a big step in the right direction for our leading lady, and after arriving in Fiji, she remarked that it was the “ultimate place to fall in love.” Keeping in mind that this week’s preview promised a few last surprises for the brunette, here’s a recap of what this episode had in store for her. Final Two Men On This Season of The Bachelorette

The episode opened up with Hebert primping for her date with Flajnik when all of a sudden there’s a knock on the door. She opens it, and there is Ryan Park, who was kicked off two episodes ago, standing there making a plea for her to reconsider after he just flew halfway around the world to confess his lingering feelings for her. It looks like a foreshadowing to him being the next Bachelor! He says that he wants a “full chance” and catches the bachelorette off-guard and left speechless. They mutually decided that she will reach out to him with an answer if she’s interested. Now, it’s time for her date with Flajnik.

Related Link: Hollywood Couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum Celebrate with Holiday Traditions

The duo spent the day together snorkeling in Fiji’s turquoise waters and frolicking like kids as they rubbed suntan lotion on one another. We learn that the date helps to solidify Flajnik’s love for Hebert, who feels like she has known him forever. It’s no surprise to hear him say their time together is effortless. The date is followed by a candlelight dinner and the acceptance of the fantasy suite invitation. While he is hesitant to say “I love you” to Hebert, she declared they are in the midst of a “great love story.”

An End To A Relationship and Love

Next up was Tzortzis. We know that Hebert is attracted to this “Greek God,” but she continues to reinforce that their relationship and love is moving very slowly. Slow-moving or not, as the famous couple embarks upon a day of exploring in a helicopter, it’s obvious that the relationship between the bachelorette and the restaurant owner is lacking in the sizzle department. Initially, she suspected that all they needed was more time to flourish, but a revealing conversation over dinner puts a quick end to it all. He explains that his feelings aren’t developing as fast and rather than accept an invitation to the fantasy suite and all that implies, the Atlanta native decides Fiji is the “end of the road” and says goodbye.

After reflecting a bit upon Tzortzis’s decision to leave, the bachelorette decides it’s time to chat with Park, who has been waiting patiently for a second chance with his celebrity love. The talk she has with the solar executive is almost the exact conversation they had several weeks ago; while Park is everything she wants on paper, their relationship and love is lacking passion. Confessing she has found the spark she needs with the two other remaining bachelors, she says “farewell” to him…AGAIN.

Related Link: Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum Have No Celebrity Wedding Plans Yet

Rosenbaum had the final date this week. It is adventure-packed as they fly around the islands in a sea plane and take a romantic swim in the ocean. He shares that he is “definitely falling in love.” Throughout the course of the day, we hear that Rosenbaum is ready for the end of the journey and to accept the final rose — he wants Hebert to be his wife. It’s no suprise that he’s been her rock throughout this bumpy journey, and at dinner in the jungle, she shares with him her “surprises” of the week. There are no secrets between these two as he accepts her invitation to the fantasy suite.

Even though Tzortzis had packed his bags and left Fiji, the bachelorette still wanted to have a rose ceremony. His decision to leave made her realize this process is really a two-way street, and she wanted to give the remaining men the opportunity to truly “accept” the roses she offered. Both men accepted the roses, and she rejoiced in the fact that her happy ending (and a celebrity engagement!) were in the very near future for her.

Who do you think she will pick to be her husband? To get an expert’s pick on the final two, check back later today for our Q&A with Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak. And don’t forget to set your DVR’s for Sunday night and The Men Tell All episode!

Exclusive Celebrity Interview: Former ‘Bachelorette’ Winner Jesse Csincsak Shares Opinions On Ashley Hebert’s Hometown Dates

Last night on The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert met the in-laws of the remaining four men: Constantine Tzortzis, Ames Brown, Ben Flajnik, and J.P. Rosenbaum. As she traveled to the contestant’s hometown and met their families, her spark grew for some of the guys, while she questioned her relationship and love with others. In the end, she sent Brown home. Here’s what Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak had to say about the episode in our exclusive interview: Exclusive Celebrity Interview with Jesse Csincsak

Constantine’s hometown date seemed so perfect. Do you think he’ll be one of the last men standing, or do you think it was edited to look that way for a reason? Maybe there’s something more coming that will shock us!

I think Constantine will be the next to go home. He has a strong connection with Ashley, but it’s moving way slower than the rest of the guys, and I think that will be what gets him sent home. I don’t think there are any tricks about his edit, but who knows — I have seen crazier stuff!

Do you think it’s a red flag that Ben’s relationships and love haven’t lasted that long and that he’s only brought home one other person?

I’m not going to lie — Ben is cool, but I just don’t see Ashley moving to central California to be a mellow wine maker’s wife. I personally think Ashley would be better suited with J.P. or Constantine, but I am not her.

Do you think J.P. has a jealous streak that could get in the way of his relationship with Ashley? Or will his lack of commitment lead to their demise?

Every guy has a point of jealousy. It’s all about how much it takes to trigger that jealous bug. I think they are going to get into some deep conversations next week. Perhaps that’s what the walking out of the room scene will be.

Who plans the hometown date ideas? For example, J.P.’s roller skating date — was that his own idea, or did the producers plan that?

The producers do all the planning, but you can tell them what you would like to do — such as snowboarding or go on a horse and carriage. They want it to be activities you would actually enjoy doing!

How nerve-wracking are hometown dates? Is it true that this is the first time you are physically seeing your family since the show started?

When you go on the hometown dates, you don’t even get to stay at your house or see your family except what everyone sees on camera! They make you stay in a hotel two miles from your house, so you can’t talk to or see anyone you know. That’s why everyone looks genuinely happy to see one another on camera.

Do all the families need to sign a waiver stating that they can’t disclose the hometown dates before the season airs? What’s the process?

All family members do have to sign a non-disclosure agreement before the contestants even get to their hometown. Once the fifth and sixth guys go home, the producers approach the contestants after the rose ceremony and ask them for the contact information of the person the Bachelorette will be meeting on the hometown date. Since the producers do it all, the guys don’t get a chance to tell their parents what’s going on.

Which of the remaining men do you think is best for Ashley?

Although I think Constantine or J.P. will fit her lifestyle the best, Ben is a great guy too! Were you surprised to see Ames go? If so, who did you think would leave this week?

I wasn’t surprised to see Ames leave. Somehow, I just can’t see Ashley sitting by a massive indoor pool and Jacuzzi talking about how amazing Ames is for the rest of her life or being driven around in a horse and carriage by the butlers until she’s 80. But then again, that’s just me.

In next week’s highlights, there’s a knock on the door from someone who surprised Ashley by flying to Fiji. Who do you think that might be?

I think the surprise is either Ames or Ryan P.

There is also a scene where her family doesn’t feel that one of the guys is right for her, and it looks like she chooses him anyway. Any guesses who that may be?

I think that has to be J.P. or Ben because it’s down to the final two when you meet the parents.

‘The Bachelorette’ Episode 8 Recap: Love Takes Time

By Jennifer Harrington

This week on The Bachelorette, Ashley has narrowed the pool to four men for the hometown dates. Coming up are visits with the families of Constantine, Ames, Ben and J.P. Let’s see what it was like to meet the in-laws:

First up was food-lover, Constantine and a visit to his family in Cumming, GA. After a cozy chat by a lake, Ashley and her man ventured off to his Italian restaurant. Yes, Greek heritage with an Italian restaurant-interesting combo. Anyway, the heat was certainly on in the kitchen as the lovebirds cooked up some treats. Following their delicious quality time the pair went to meet Constantine’s extremely close-knit family. All season, we’ve known Constantine was a family man, and after his hometown date we can now see why. Ashley not only met his immediate family but the couple was surprised when the doorbell rang and in walked about 20 more extended family members to greet Constantine for a Welcome Back Greek-style dance party. Despite the good times and cool dance moves, Constantine’s parents emphasized over and over that love takes time. This seemed to be the theme of the night from most of the families.

Next Ashley flew up to Chadds Ford, PA to spend some time with Ames’ family. Our bachelorette has been intrigued by Ames’ “uniqueness” all season, and her day with his loved ones did not disappoint. In fact, Ames’ older sister compared her brother to an onion with various layers. Speaking of layers, we learned that Ames attended boarding school and was an unpopular student. All afternoon, we heard Ashley (and Ames’ family) questioning the spark and passion in their relationship, and despite sharing his motto that “life isn’t all fireworks,’ Ames promised to “step up the romance” with Ashley after the couple shared a picnic, conversation, and carriage ride together.

After two dates on the East Coast, our bachelorette flew west for her hometown date with Ben in Sonoma, CA where they sipped on wine from his vineyard. After an “effortless” afternoon with her “sexy” long-haired man, Ashley settled in for a relaxed evening with Ben’s mother and sister. Ben’s father passed away several years ago and Ben expressed to Ashley that this process of being on the show has really helped him open up emotionally. He admitted that he had only brought home one girl to meet his family before, which could be a red flag for her. The hometown date was much more intimate than the others and a little more emotional. Ben’s over-protective sister definitely was watching out for her brother’s best interest but overall they seemed to accept Ashley into the family.

Last was J.P.’s hometown date in Roslyn, NY. J.P. treated Ashley to an afternoon of roller-skating, which she loved, remarking that she felt like she was in “seventh grade again. With the disco ball flashing, the chemistry between these two looked pretty heated on the rink. However, they did share some serious talk about why J.P. has been single for so long (Ashley has obviously never lived in NYC where the singles almost outweigh the married couples).

They finally joined J.P.’s family, where the defenses came up initially to protect him. Apparently, his last girlfriend broke his heart. When confiding in his family, J.P. shared that he was afraid to fully admit how he feels for Ashley.

The episode ended with roses going to Ben, Constantine, and J.P. Ames was sent home, eliminated and devastated — while it seemed obvious that Ashley was not able to find any spark with him, he had developed genuine feelings for her.

Join us next week for the exotic overnight dates in Fiji as we journey with Ashley towards the final rose! In the meantime, share your predictions with us — who do you think will be the final two men standing this season? And, if you can’t get enough Bachelorette, be sure to check back later today to read Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak’s take on the episode.

Exclusive Celebrity Interview: Former ‘Bachelorette’ Winner Jesse Csincsak Gives His Take on Ashley Hebert’s Taiwan Dates Last night on The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert said goodbye to Lucas Daniels and Ryan Park, and their journeys ended in Taiwan. In addition to finding out who the final four are —J.P. Rosenbaum, Ben Flajnik, Constantine Tzortzis, and Ames Brown — Emily Maynard returned to the Bachelor mansion to speak about her celebrity break-up with Brad Womack. In ourexclusive celebrity interview, find out what Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak had to say about the episode!

Exclusive Celebrity Interview with Former Bachelorette Winner Jesse Csincsak

The mood this week was certainly different: Ashley seemed much more serious and focused as she evaluated her relationship and love with the guys. Based on your experience, is it the upcoming hometown dates that cause people to get more serious? For you, was it difficult to introduce a woman to your family that you had only known for a couple of weeks?

At this point in the show, you have been there for over a month so your feelings are definitely growing fast. When hometowns start production, it seems like they let you two be alone a lot without butting in. There are still tons of cameras there, but no producers ever pull you away to talk to you or her — they just let things be as organic as possible. Intros to the family are huge — it’s a make or break time for both parties at that point.

They didn’t show any hint of what happened when Ben didn’t come home until the next morning. Do you have any thoughts on why?

I think Ben will be one of the final two. I am assuming they probably fell asleep snuggling, but they can’t show that to the audience because it would seem like not all the guys are getting the same amount of time with her.

Please discuss Ames’ fashion choices. It seems like the producers are going out of their way to embarrass him this season — from the pink boxing shorts to his wedding attire this week. Why would they intentionally do this?

First off, Ames is a ROCKET SCIENTIST, not a fashion guru. Secondly, the show has a stylist, Karry Fetman, who outfits all the guys. So he is doing it on purpose for good TV.

Did either of the departures this week — Ryan or Lucas — surprise you? Why or why not?

I have a friend who is a body language expert, Stacy Kaiser. Check out her weekly column in USA TODAY! She has been explaining things to me, and I saw the Lucas and Ryan exit coming. Ryan was kept around for good TV.

Any theories on whose hometown date idea will be the wackiest? In the previews, it looks like Constantine’s family is throwing money in the air — sounds like a party to me!

What’s your best guess at this point of the two men that will be standing at the final rose ceremony?

J.P. and BEN.

Do you think there was re-edit mid-season because they made Ashley look emotionally weak over the Bentley saga?

Nope. I think Ashley is trying to please producers. When she realizes how it will look on TV, she kind of backs off. So it appears that way when we watch the show, but in reality, she is just trying to please production.

Why do you think Emily came on the show to speak? Ratings? Producers’ influence? Is she the next Bachelorette?

Emily came on for 15 minutes, crying the whole time and saying absolutely nothing. This tells me production did all of this, and they are trying to make her the next Bachelorette. I am sure she will be paid well!

Given the romance with Emily is over, do you thinkThe Bachelor fans have seen the last of Brad Womack? Do you think there is any chance we’ll see him sit down with Chris Harrison to tell his side of the story any time soon?

I think Brad is sick of the press, but I am sure he would return if he was paid the right amount of money.

By Jennifer Harrington

Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette left us with the final six men! Ashley Hebert’s game face was on as she committed to finding the total package in a guy — an emotional and physical connection — before she would grant a rose for hometown dates. The episode featured J.P. Rosenbaum whining about the fact that Ben Flajnik had an overnight date and Ryan Park looking like he was on the brink of a nervous breakdown if he didn’t get a solo date with the bachelorette. However, the highlight of the evening was when Emily Maynard came back on the show to chat with Chris Harrison about her relationship and love with Brad Womack — or lack thereof. If you missed last night’s episode of the reality TV show, here’s how it all went down:

Recap of The Bachelorette Season 7, Episode 7

There were four dates this week: three one-on-one dates and one group date. The first solo date went to Georgia-based restaurateur, Constantine Tzortzis. He and Herbert’s relationship and love had been moving slower than the others, so this was her opportunity to see if there was a connection. The date began with a train ride to a nearby village and concluded with both of them releasing a big balloon-like, paper lantern into the sky, which had included their “love” wishes on it. Hebert said it was “the most romantic date ever.” Cliché as it is, love was in the air!

The next alone date was given to Sonoma winemaker, Ben Flajnik. It’s tough to ignore the obvious chemistry between this duo, as they explored Taiwan on mopeds. Flajnik revealed to the cameras that he was falling in love with the bachelorette but wasn’t ready to tell her yet. Hebert revealed to the cameras (not to him) that it felt like he was her boyfriend. The next development was truly shocking: We learned that Flajnik didn’t come home from this date until the next morning! Is that a Bachelor/Bachelorette first? It really pissed off some of the other guys in the house.

While the activities of the overnight date remained mysterious, there was no secret about the fact that Rosenbaum was annoyed by the sleepover. His crankiness carried over into the group date, where he was accompanied by Ames Brown and Lucas Daniels to try on traditional Taiwanese wedding attire and take wedding photographs. Rosenbaum now sulked about the fact that the other guys were taking kissing photos with his lady. It all paid off for him though: When he shared his feelings with Hebert, she rewarded the construction manager from Long Island with the only guaranteed hometown rose.

Last but not least, we have Park: the last man standing for a one-on-one date. After a day of checking out local Taiwanese culture, the conversation turned to water heaters, energy preservation, and the environment — certainly not a way to get “in the mood” or build romantic chemistry. At this point, Hebert knew that her first-impression-guy was not going to be her husband, and she tearfully told him goodbye. Park, the eternal optimist (and the “top contender,” according to Brown), left in tears too.

Aside from Rosenbaum, the final three roses went to Tzortzis, Flajnik, and Brown. Daniels was out and graciously said goodbye. With the hometown dates decided, it was time to shift focus to Chris Harrison’s interview with Emily Maynard.

Past Winner of The Bachelor Speaks Out About Relationship and Love

Maynard returned to The Bachelor mansion to speak about her celebrity break-up with Brad Womack, who declined to appear on the segment. The devastated blonde confessed that she had been hunted by the paparazzi, that she didn’t know who to trust, and that she ultimately didn’t have the reassurance that her fiancé would stand by her side forever. She came on the show to try and end the rumors. Always the devoted mother to little Ricki, Maynard declared she would always love Womack but revealed that the engagement is over. Her focus is now to be the best mom she can be. Are we being set-up for her return?

Check back later today to readBachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak’s thoughts on the episode (and Emily’s interview). Until then, let us know: after seeing Emily detail her break- up with Brad, do you think there is any truth to the rumors that she will be the next Bachelorette?

‘The Bachelorette’ Season 7, Episode 7 Preview: More Wedding Themed Dates in Taiwan and Emily Maynard is Back!

By Jennifer Harrington

It’s been two weeks since we caught up with Ashley Hebert in her search for love on The Bachelorette. During the last episode, it seemed like our leading lady finally found closure to her obsession with Bentley, and her feelings for the remaining six bachelors were starting to blossom. This week’s episode takes us to Taiwan for more over-the-top wedding- themed dates (you may recall her Vegas escapade with William earlier this season). Certainly, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau had a lot to do with this episode as they’re now offering special packages to fans who want to recreate Ashley’s dates. During a group date, the bachelorette and three of her men model traditional Taiwanese wedding apparel. When will this wedding theme end?

Now here’s the good part: Monday’s episode will include an appearance from Emily Maynard! She’ll be stopping by to talk with Chris Harrison about her recent break-up with Brad Womack. Will she be the next Bachelorette? We sure hope so! Tune in on Monday, July 11 at 8PM Eastern/7PM Central and be sure to send us your questions for our resident Bachelorette expert Jesse Csincsak!
