Horseshoes Tournament and Chili Cook-Off Winners It’s sad but true; the Colliers are hangin’ up their shoes, horseshoes, that is. On Sept 22nd the horsey set celebrated the end of the season with a tourament, a chili cook-off, and a memorable send-off to the Colliers who started this fun activity a few years ago with just a handful of folks. Today it is the most popular event in A.G. with more than 120 folks involved. One day they actually had more than 80 people participating. The horseshoes gang will certainly miss the guiding hands of the Colliers but their strong back-up team of vounteers ensures that it will be a part of our scene for many more years. At the end of the evening, Bill and Doreen were presented with a beautifully decorated cake, and each received a plaque made by Wayne Moss and inscribed “To Bill and Doreen Collier, Originators and Driving Force of A.G. Horseshoes. Many Thanks 2014”. TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT RUNNERS-UP BEST CHILI AWARD
