HELLA RALLY CHAMPIONS STREET TALK

Very little on the street talking scene this month.

On a sad note, the closure of the Esso petrol station on the Dublin Road, is disappointing to say the least. On a brighter note, Hugh O'Neill of Co. Meath is getting closer to opening his workshop in Coates Lane. He will be restoring old paint ings, framing and other work in that field. More on this next month.

1995 Hella/ECCO Champions Barry Flanagan and Don Foley with Mr. Fergus Murphy of Hella Ireland Ltd. and Mr. Michael Fizsimons, Chairman of the R.I.A.C. Motorsport Commission at the presentation of awards in the Spa Hotel on May 20th.

MAYNOOTH TEST TRIAL The Maynooth Festival Test Trial will once again take place in Doyles Mart on June 13th. As in previous years many of the top rank drivers in this discipline will be competing in this event. The event starts at 7.30 p.m. and all are welcome to come and watch as well as come down to meet the drivers at the prize giving in the Roost after the event.

On an even brighter note, it looks like the drab building on the Jim's Shoe Repairs Main Street at Coates Lane is due for a face-lift.
