Respondent : The Public Information Officer (U/RTI Act,2005) / The District Revenue Officer, Nizamabad District, Nizamabad-503001. ORDER Sri A. Hari Prasad filed a complaint dated 25-06-2018 which was received by this Commission on 29-06-2018 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/ District Revenue Officer, Nizamabad District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the complainant herein filed an application dated 28-02-2018 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application annexed. TSIC The District Revenue Officer, Nizamabad through Lr.No. B3/766/2018 dated 06-03-2018 transferred the 6(1) application under section 6(3) of RTI Act, 2005 to the Public Information Officers/ Tahsildars, Nizamabad/ Armoor/Bodhan to furnish the sought information to the appellant directly. Stated that the Complainant did not get any response from the Public Information Officer, he preferred this complaint before the Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. Basing on the material papers available on record, the complaint is taken on file and notices were sent to the parties concerned directing them to appear before this Commission for hearing on 05-08-2019 at Hyderabad. On behalf of the Public Information Officer / District Revenue Officer, O/o the District Collector, Nizamabad District, Sri P.Santhosh, Senior Assistant is present. The authorized representative of the Public Information Officer submitted the affidavit wherein the PIO stated that the 6(1) application, filed by the complainant has been transferred to the Public Information Officer, O/o Revenue Divisional Officer, Armoor on 06.03.2018 with a request to furnish the information to the complainant. On perusal of the material papers available in the case file, it is noticed that the complainant filed 6(1) application on 28.02.2018. The Public Information Officer / District Revenue Officer, Nizamabad, vide letter B3/1271/2019 dated 01.08.2019, submitted that they have transferred the 6(1) application to the Public Information Officer, O/o Revenue Divisional Officer, Armoor on 06.03.2018, with a request to furnish the information to the complainant. Therefore, this Commission directs the Public Information Officer / O/o Revenue Divisional Officer, Armoor to submit the information as sought by the complainant in 6(1) application, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by Registered post with Acknowledgement due and report the compliance of the order to this Commission. With the above direction the complaint is closed.
