The Franklin County High School prom on April 6 was a wondrous affair, with more than 130 young people attending the affair at the Armory in Apalachicola. Junior class sponsor Kassi Malcolm said several high school teachers, and scores of volunteer parents helped make the prom a success, culminating in the grand march. “I thought it want great,” Malcolm said. “There were no hiccups and no need for police. It went fl awlessly and the kids had a really good time. On top of that, it was beautiful.”
