Details of Overlapping : Total overlapping is 150 meter ie, 0.53 % of the total route length [28.2 km] which is within the permissible limit. 1) Route portion of 150 meter from Mundakayam B S Jn. to Mundakayam Cosway Jn. objectionably overlaps on Ernakulam – Thekkady, Trivandrum- Thekkady notified Scheme 26929/TB/66/PW dtd 12/10/2016. 6. Details of Overlapping : Total overlapping- 2.8 KM. ie, 4.92 % of the total route length [56.8 km] which is within the permissible limit. 1) Route portion of 2 KM from Ettumanoor B S to Thavalakuzhy and Central Jn. to Parakandam objectionably overlaps on Kottayam – Kozhikkode No GO[MS] 209/67/PW dtd 07/10/1967 and Kottayam - Kattappana Scheme GO[MS] 139/67/PW dtd 18/07/1967. 2) Route portion of 800 meters from Kuravilangadu Pallithazham to Muttunkal Jn. objectionably overlaps on Kottayam – Kozhikkode No GO[MS] 209/67/PW dtd 07/10/1967. 6. Details of Vehicle produced : KL 33 3199 / another suitable vehicle owned by the applicant. 7. Details of Concurrence :N A. 8. Necessity, recommendation if any : Nil. 9. Court Direction, if any : Nil. 10. Other relevant points : It is reported that the portion from Kuravilangadu to Elanji and Elanji to Koothattukulam via proposed route is remote area and ill served. Stage carriage service to these remote village area will be helpful to develop their traditional trades of the village people and facilitate their daily travel to livelihood, education etc. It will be beneficial to the people who all depending the Hospital at Vakkadu. This service will be banaficial to the students and staff of VISAT College. Even though the Mnaracadu – Ettumanoor – Vayala – Kluravilangadu sector is average served, the proposed route will decrease the efforts of the ordinary citizens physically and economically. Definitely this service willincrease the travel facilities of Common man and beneficial to the public. 11. Type of road : Mentioned in the report submitted by the field Officer. The school secured 100% pass for the Std X & XII Board exam. Adarsh S Santhosh became the school topper in the Std XII exam securing 95.2%. He got A1 in all subjects. Five students secured the full 10 grade point in the Std X board exam. They got A1 in all subjects. We the staff and students take this opportunity to congratulate the students for their excellent performance and extend warm wishes for their bright future. Like every year the Bright Stars Eve was organised in the School Auditorium to felicitate and congratulate our bright stars.

The holy shrine dedicated to Lord Ayyappa is situated 914 metres above sea level amidst dense forests in the rugged terrains of the Western Ghats. Lord Ayyappa is looked upon as the guardian of mountains and there are several shrines dedicated to him all along the Western Ghats. The festivals here are the Mandala Pooja, Makara Vilakku (December/January) and Vishu Kani (April). The temple is also open for pooja on the first 5 days of every Malayalam month. The vehicles go only up to Pampa and the temple, which is situated 5 km away from Pampa, can be reached only by trekking.
