G O D 'S Portiond 40th Anniversary ORTIO P N ’S D D A O Y G Notre Dame B U A R L O W I N G T O N , I March 23, 2019 WE MAKE OUTDOOR DREAMS A REALITY. 319.850.8621 OR [email protected] Proud Supporter of Burlington Notre Dame Hello and Welcome to Notre Dame and God’s Portion Day, It is a great honor to welcome you to Notre Dame and this year’s 40th Annual God’s Portion Day. I remember the first GPD when the students were divided up into two groups, Tony's Tigers and Brady's Bunch. Now, forty years later, this great event is still going on. This is such an important day for our school and our community. I want to thank you for being here and giving your support today and everyday throughout the year. It is because of you that we are able to provide a faith-based education to so many students in our area. We have seen so many great things over the last year. Our students continue to impress us. Our academic successes continue as well as our students’ success in athletics and the fine arts areas. Our students leave us ready to face the world with a foundation in Faith and academic excellence that has been the Notre Dame way for over sixty years. Bill Maupin, Principal Dear Supporters of Notre Dame, What a great day as we come together for “God’s Portion Day”. This will be a time for fun and laughter, food and drink, and catching up with “old friends”. It is because of people like you and your generous support that Notre Dame is as strong as it is today. For this we are truly grateful and blessed. All of us should be proud of our students' accomplishments, and we feel extremely blessed to be able to share in the great ministry that is being done through the administration, teachers, staff, and volunteers at Notre Dame. If you are able to come to Mass here at the School or any time our students share their talents and gifts you will be truly amazed by the energy and vitality made present by the students. It is our hope that we realize how truly blessed we are to have Notre Dame Catholic School in our community to teach our children in the ways of faith. That is our primary reason for being here – and without your generous support, we would not be able to do that. Please be assured of our prayers for you. St. Paul in his letter to the Romans says: “First, I give thanks to my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is heralded throughout the world….” Our students go out of Notre Dame prepared to face the world because of the foundation in faith we are able to give them. We thank you again for your generous support of Burlington Notre Dame. With this support, we will make a lasting difference in the lives of our students, families and community. May God bless you and your family and our school abundantly, today and always! Fr. Marty Goetz Fr. Dan Dorau Deacon Bob Glaser To all the volunteers, sponsors, businesses, families, alums, parishioners and staff thank you for making the 40th Annual God’s Portion Day possible! We have listed the items by hours, hopefully, giving you an idea when an item will be auctioned. The items may not necessarily be auctioned in the exact order that they appear in the book, but within the hour in which they are listed. We will do our best to stay on schedule, but some items may take longer to auction than others. There is an addendum page for items which were donated after the book went to print. Food and beverage items will be spontaneously auctioned throughout the day. We want to thank everyone who contributed so generously to this year’s auction. We have tried not to omit any person, business or donation. If any donation was omitted, we sincerely apologize. Please remember all the individuals, families, organizations and businesses who generously gave to God’s Portion Day. If you purchase a certificate for services or products, please be aware of the stated parameters. Please use your certificate for the number of people or events intended before the expiration date. Items and certificates are not redeemable for cash. Notre Dame Foundation Board Shane Hunold, President Todd Ackerman Non-voting members K.C.
